I have been to this boba location several times (even back when it was still a Kung Fu Tea) and I will admit, I miss when it was still under a name-brand boba shop. I'm afraid I will not be returning after a recent incident.
Back when it was Kung Fu Tea, the drinks were incredibly consistent, the service was always on point, the atmosphere felt clean and put-together, and the menu design actually looked professional. Now after several years of occasionally visiting and giving the new re-brand local business a try, me and my family's drinks have either been too milky, or too sweet. The service has always been a gamble; it was the worst when it was under Kung Fu Boba, however I will say the employees I have interacted with recently have been honest and friendly, and I don't mind them being on their phones when there isn't much traffic. The menu now (this is just personal preference) looks incredibly unorganized and unappealing, and I miss the old one.
As stated before, I don't think me and my family will be coming back. The last time I ordered from them, I had gotten me and my mother a Wintermelon Green Milk Tea Boba and a Signature Milk Tea Boba. All was well besides the milkiness (I had decided to accept it, I prefer to not make a fuss), until I had found a piece of steel wool in my Wintermelon. I will say, the owners were quick to comp the order, and the employees I talked to on both the phone and in person had handled the situation well, and I heavily appreciate the consideration and understanding on all sides! However, I just think that will be the final straw for me personally.
I still have hopes for this business, and it's great that they were able to open a second location. I wish nothing but the best, and I hope to see some improvement in the future. For right now, we will either stick to Snoba over by Parker Square, or travel to DFW for...
Read moreI came in an hour before they closed, (i double checked their sign and website says 930) unaware that she was already closing. I asked her if they had Boba she said yes, so I continue to order. I got my drink and i left. When i tried my drink and found the boba wasnât cooked i immediately came back and i told her. She said there was nothing she could do that i cams too late initially and now sheâs closed. There was not a manager present so I came back this morning and was able to speak with the owner and let them know what happened he apologized for everything and replaced my drink all while being very kind. I highly recommend trying your drink before you leave so this doesnât happen to you, and or maybe verify that they have fresh Boba and not just Boba. And they do close at...
Read moreIâve been coming to the store for a few months now, the drinks and staff always seems to vary, somedays they have strawberry boba other times they go weeks without it. I wish they would bring back medium prices itâs much cheaper. However, the staff is very kind in explaining what they do or donât have, and always providing some great suggestions. I always look forward to my drink when the younger white kids are on staff(boy and girl). The store gets pretty backed up when they only have one on shift but those two teenagers know how to work quickly, i appreciate their enthusiasm, and patience my kids love them and it makes me want to go back. Iâm glad theyâve added items such as yogurt boba or...
