Spangles — Restaurant in Wichita

I have eaten food from Spangles various times over the last 20 years. I have been a long time customer. It saddens me to write this review. Here lately, there food has just gone downhill. Their whole claim of being "made fresh" isn't holding up. I order a chicken gyro the last time I went. The chicken was very poor quality. Very fatty, had probably been frozen, but not appropriately thawed. The chicken was just watery. Not juicy. Watery! It was extremely unappetizing. Everything was just kind of unceremoniously thrown on. The pita bread is pretty thin compared to what it used to be. I was thinking maybe I wasn't giving it a fair shake? No. I finished the whole thing & wished I hadn't. I am not a wasteful person. I didn't throw it away.

At this point, I am just done eating Spangles food. Also, if you go check out their nutrition, the food is really unhealthy content wise. Honestly, ever since the chain started offering alcoholic drinks is when the quality went down. I am sure someone will reach out about this review. Let it be known, I don't want any free products for my experience. I want the chain to fix their quality. This isn't an isolated store problem. It is across the board. The drive-thru was completely packed and by the time that I went ahead and parked instead of ordering through the drive-through I have seen three cars to leave in a hurry I went inside to my order and the lady that came to take my order was extremely rude about the fact that I wanted to have my order to go instead of dine in I put in my order and she just ripped off the receipt folded it up and hand it to me I went to go sit at one of the tables to wait but almost every table inside was just dirty... it was very strange that there was an odd smell coming from the sauce dispenser and when I told the employees that their soft dispenser needed to be refreshed I was told that they will not be doing that since there is nobody dining in at this moment... just felt uncalled for him I have no idea what their day was like I'm sure that they're stressed out because it was quite a busy time at 9:00 p.m. for them... anyway the food itself that I had ordered came out just fine but it did kind of ruin the experience to be...

Went inside in a good mood. Cashier was great. I got to sit down because im eating inside. Then coming down to the food getting “cooked” first time i had them take it back because the burger was wrong so the cashier was nice enough to take it back and bring it back. The second time she brings it the burger was way under cooked like the cooks were rushing it. It was still alot of pink and sloppy. So i went up to the counter no rude way asked them could they just remake the whole order then the cashier has a little attitude. So now im getting frustrated because my food has not been cooked the right way twice. Then the cashier brings the food back i cab tell its the same burger they just cooked it a little longer. Now why would you put something that someone touched back on a grill where everyone elses food is. Its just not ok the burger still didnt end up how it always taste so thats my reasoning for a 2...
