Sweet 'n Saucy — Restaurant in Wichita

The candy and hot sauce shop of Delano, on Douglas and in between McLean and the clock tower. This is an awesome place to explore some special candy and soda varieties that my family always finds a treasure in. There’s gourmet chocolates, uniquely flavored sweets, and even some nostalgic old school favorites. The hot sauce collection has great variety, with some bottles not found just anywhere including some locally made sauces named Keeper of the Flames. I appreciate having the selection around this part of Wichita and hope that it grows even more. They also have a large inventory of socks too if that’s your jam. The only thing lacking here is helpful service and it could use more knowledgeable staff who come out from behind the counter and assist in the experience. Pretty neat place with lots of different "exotic" sodas as my son said lol. The throwback candy was awesome.and they had some candies I had never heard of. I went in for socks, however was looking for something about the disappointments of 2020 but they didn't have anything, we did buy a cookies and cream and a butter soda. And a lemon sweet n tart. The lemon was really good not too sweet, made with cane sugar. My son had the other two. The butter smelled of butterscotch, he said it had a faint taste of butterscotch. Cute little store, lots of fun candies, and a huge selection of socks. NFL, anime, cartoons, and then the fun generic kind with animals and plants! Loved the selection of hot sauces and Hot sodas available for those guys in my life that are tough to buy gifts for!
