I usually never write reviews, in fact, I think this is the first time that I’ve actually went out of my way to write a review about a place because it was so terrible. I really felt like it needed to be shared so people can be warned and spend their money somewhere else. I’ve been to chipotle many times, especially at this location, and I’ve ALWAYS had an issue every time I ordered. Whether it be the food made incorrectly, long wait time, and my order being missing altogether. Every time I would just let it go because yes, the food at chipotle is amazing and this is literally the ONLY location in Wilkes-barre area. However, today was the day that I felt the need to write a review because I literally had the WORST customer service experience in my 24 years of life. If I could give this place negative five stars I would. I ordered my food online and it was supposed to be ready at 5pm. I went In there at 5:05 and my food wasn’t ready so I stood around for a little bit because I thought it would be ready in maybe 10,15 maybe 20 minutes tops. I couldn’t of been so wrong in my life. After 20 minutes of standing around I asked one of the employees who was making the online orders if they had my order ready. I told them my name and everything and the employee responded very callous and bluntly “the orders are all right on the shelf” and said nothing else. OBVIOUSLY the orders are on the shelf, if you actually paid attention you would’ve noticed me standing there for 20 minutes looking and tried to assist me. (Let me add in that I also was the only customer standing in the online order section so I mean it wasn’t like they had a line of people that I was blending into.).So after that I waited ANOTHER 20 minutes without my order being ready. None of the employees still said anything to me besides that one response. Are you kidding me? I’ve never walked in an establishment and was IGNORED for almost an hour. Do you want my money? Is this supposed to be a business or a hang out for people to slack off? Anyways, I finally approached the lady at the main counter (not the online order area) and asked her if she had my order ready and she said it wasn’t even made so they had to remake my order. WOW, seriously? Maybe if one of you actually asked what I was waiting on (like you are supposed to. You get paid to take CARE of customers and be friendly) I wouldn’t of wasted an hour of my life literally doing nothing. So basically avoid this chipotle at all costs, make the drive if you have to, because this just isn’t worth it. This place seriously needs a whole new staff and a MAJOR improvement in...
Read moreWe went to Chipotle on Monday, February 4th. Having been there last year and the place was filthy, we decided to try one more time . Well, I can tell you that the tradition continues. The place was absolutely filthy. Every table had left over food on it. There was food on the floor. We asked one of the workers to please wash off 1 of the table so we could sit down when we came back. It was just as dirty as when we left. In between, we went to the food station. Where the food was dried out there there were no vegetables and no beans. How do you have a Mexican restaurant without beans? The folks at work? The line should be noticing when their food supply is low and should have it replaced. They wanted to give us what was at the bottom of the container that was dried out and old. And then told us it would be 3 to 5 minutes before they could cook some more and put aside. What we had already ordered to sit and get cold while everybody else ordered. Ahead of us and behind us. OK, so we go over to where the knives and forks are. There were 4 napkin holders, not one of them had napkins in them. Apparently there is no manager there or nobody ever went to cooking school. After waiting for 5 minutes we decided we were going to leave and go to the one up in scranton. Without exaggeration, the places disgusting. On the cleanliness factor alone, they should be shut down. It was absolutely filthy and I'm not exaggerating. I would never eat there again or go there again. Spare yourself the trip. It was horrible and we did not stay to eatnow fast forward to the one up in Scranton on montage you walk in. The floors are so clean you can eat off of them. The tables are clean. The people are very polite and professional. The food was fresh and delicious. If you want good food, go to that one. The store in Wilkes Barre really should be shut down. Have a deep cleaning doneand then hire completely new staff. This is the most fair review I could give without being...
Read moreThis store was not clean on the inside or outside eating areas the garbage was piled up and overflowing the tables were dirty with food crumbs left on them my friend and I were starving so we just toughed it out on the make line they ran out of brown rice and there was no sense of urgency to replace it the guy tried to go to the online order line to at least get me some brown rice but they turned him away which is absurd and made him and I wait for more rice to come up holding up the line the same make line then didn’t have any brisket ready and I had to wait for that as well got all the way to checkout and the cashier said there was no vinaigrette also didn’t have the drink I wanted I will never come back to this chipotle for the amount of people that were on the clock some one could’ve bussed tables and changed the garbage inside and out God forbid what the restroom may look like management needs to coordinate prep better so the crew can make it through rush the cashier said “DAWN” is responsible for the make like dawn if your a crew leader/shift manager/assistant manager shame on you for not prepping for the rush if there’s a shortage of items there needs to be some type of signage that’s visible a customer shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes to find out that you’re out of something or if you see something is getting low go ahead and prep it before it...
