Incredibly rude staff. I'm gluten-free and this establishment posted they have a gluten-free crust. My family came in to order multiple pizzas, including my gluten-free pizza. At the register when ordering, the staff member informed us they ran out of gluten-free crust but had cauliflower. I told them I cannot eat cauliflower crust. My husband said to me in front of the staff, "Do we need to go to another restaurant since they do not have food for you?" I said no, and that my family could order the other 3 pizzas and stay, I would go next door to a different restaurant and get food that is gluten-free there and return. My husband then ordered 3 pizzas and I went to get a gluten-free food item from a restaurant next door. When I returned with my food in a bag to sit and eat with my family, the pizzas were already at their table and my family were eating their pizzas. I sat down and a different staff member from across the restaurant said in a loud voice "No outside food. You can't eat that in here." I then turned to her and said "Are you telling me I cannot eat with my own family even though you didn't have a gluten-free pizza as you advertised?!" She completely ignored me and went and got her manager. Her manager then approached me and told me to stop yelling (I wasn't yelling) and that it was a restaurant policy that I couldn't eat outside food inside. I told her that I allowed my family to still purchase 3 pizzas from her establishment despite them not having the gluten-free pizza as they advertised and that it would be kind of her to allow me to still eat with my family. She told me again, no, and that there was a "sign" stating this rule. I then told her I was going to leave them a bad review for the trouble they're causing us, paying customers. She then said she will allow it this one time, but that's not fair that I leave them a bad review. Very sad that paying customers, who are being treated poorly, have to threaten with a bad review to get better service. I didn't eat their pizza, but I asked my husband and family if their pizza was any good. They all said it was just OK, and that for the price it cost as well as the poor customer service, there is not reason to ever return. Find yourself better pizza and better restaurant with kinder staff over this place. I highly recommend the restaurant next door, Station 66, that I purchased my food from. They had multiple gluten-free options, were very kind and more than accommodating, and it...
Read moreHands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We spent over $107 in their establishment, as well. We ordered two large pizzas, 30 wings, a pitcher of soda, and a pitcher of beer. We had nine people in our party. The pizza was horribly greasy and the skin on the wings was slimy. When I saw the pizzas were around $25 each, I thought they would be high quality. It tasted like frozen pizza. All of the toppings fell off the moment you picked it up too, so I realistically ate bread and sauce with a side of cheese and pepperoni. As the evening wore on about 5:30-ish, I noticed the employees were loading chairs onto the tables. I asked the employee standing behind me what time they closed. (We did not want to be the jerks that held them up.) His response was, "Whenever they tell me to lock up." I looked at him a little shocked and said, "Okay ..." He continued to grumble on about how the hours always change so there's no point in giving me a time. His co-worker came over to help him clear the table and he started cussing up a storm about how horrible his manager was and how he was always changing things. He was standing directly behind me the entire time. The fact that there were three children 11 and under at our table made difference to his mannerism. He continued to cuss and speak highly inappropriately. To end the night, I turned around and politely asked the gentlemen if they could get me a "to-go plate" when they had a moment. That same rude man laughed and said, "You mean a to-go box?" His co-worker rolled his eyes and politely said, "I knew what you meant. I'll get you one." I did not get that rude man's name, as he made our mission to get out of the restaurant as soon as we could and never return. I recommend avoiding this place though. The food is horrific and the staff is even worse. I spent two weeks vacationing in Phoenix, traveling all over the state with my family, and frequented numerous restaurants. This was, hands down, the worst...
Read moreThe staff is rude. We didn’t feel welcome at all and the lady taking our order actually seemed irritated we were there. The lady had zero customer service skills. We weren’t greeted even when we went to the counter and she walked up to take our order. When ordering the food my son asked why I didn’t order a drink for myself. I told him it was because I had an UNOPENED bottle of water in my purse. The girl told me I couldn’t drink my water due to their policy of no outside food or drink. This was WATER and the seal was not broken. She stated something about sanitation reasons. This is just an excuse for you to buy a drink from them. Ive never had an issue in any other restaurant. What if I had a toddler with a sippy cup or an infant with a bottle of formula? What if I wanted to use my water to mix my infant’s formula? Would we have been asked to leave? Most importantly the way you communicate with someone and deliver a message goes a long way. The two ladies working were just rude about it. They lost a $70 order and sadly we will never go back again. We went half a block to Station 66 Italian Bustro where we were greeted with a smile immediately upon entering the restaurant. The wood fired pizza and cheesy bread at Station 66 was great and I told them what happened and they had no problem with me drinking my water in their restaurant. Go to Station 66 Italian...
