Terra Cafe & Grill — Restaurant in Wilmington

This little restaurant was so good. I went on my last day in Wilmington. It was my only chance, my business didn't allow me the opportunity to visit during their open hours, so I was glad to get a moment to drop in. I kept it simple, a gyro, pasta salad, and baklava. It was excellent. The gyro was simple, tasty, the pita bread was so fresh and soft, everything on this gyro was seasoned perfectly. The pasta salad was delightful just the right amount of zing, with a little tart taste thrown in. The baklava was not overly sweet, just enough nutty taste with som great flaky, light taste from the Phyllo dough. Terra has great authentic food and friendly service. Often, the tables are accented with fresh flowers in small vases. It is always clean. It is a mom & pop establishment, meaning there is literally a wife and husband duo running the show, so be patient for your food or order ahead for pickup. Some may say the prices are a little high, but you are supporting a small local business run by two very sweet and hardworking folks.
