TLDR; after midnight bring cash. Also after midnight no icecream/mcflurry. Tigard McD’s turns off from 1am-6am to clean.
Alrighty lads and ladies. Let’s talk. First off, during the day, this place is great. Quick service, albeit busy because the next closest McD’s is in Lake O or Canby. Either way, large area for one place. The staff and management there during the day excels, solid 5 stars for them. They’re what keep this from being 1.
But when it gets to the night crew, like the 11pm-5am, it’s honestly terrible. First of all, about two months ago they started turning off their card server to... take count? I’ve never seen a 24hr McD’s do this, but whatever. Would have appreciated a sign posted rather than mumbled “only accepting cash” as soon as I pull up. One night, about a week after they started that, I pulled up, heard the no cash, drove to the atm to pull a 20, got back over there, same vehicle was waiting in the drive thru, and when I said I had cash they asked me, “Are you sure?” What’s that? But tonight, and the reason I’m posting this review for them, is when I showed up at 2am, I was told cash only, like alright I got this, just a McFlurry please. “Ice cream got turned off” is what I heard after turning off my vehicle and asking them to speak up a third time. Alrighty, when will it be back on. “It’s off for cleaning at midnight” That’s cool I got that, when is it back on? “Morning time” Dude its morning now, what time in the morning I’ll come back then?! “Like 10am is when the guy gets in.” WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?! Let’s shut off the machine to clean it starting TEN HOURS after it’s off. Ladies and Gents, that’s only when the cleaning starts, this machine will be off supposedly until probably 11am if not later this morning. And I’d like to clarify. I’m 22, listen to my music at half volume on an iPhone, less on Android. I have pretty decent hearing and for me to have to physically turn off my vehicle which is a ch-r, you’re pillowtalking to your microphone and I am not the Adele to your deep.
To those still with me here, I’d love to hear other reviews about the night team. Day shift, y’all are great I feel your pain but night shift, there’s not even a line to the speaker and you still can’t keep business. Stay woke. Read moreFirst off I work at the Sherwood McDonald’s and I know what customer service should be and how the system works. My friends and I went through late at night to get some food here. When we pulled up the lady speaking didn’t greet us at all she just said “cash only.” We happened to have some cash so that wasn’t a problem. When we completed our order she didn’t tell us the price of the order she just said pull up to the last window. When we got to the window the lady told me the price and I handed her the cash. After getting my money back the lady seemed unsure about the price and stuttered saying how much I was getting back. That made me suspicious but I kinda let it go. I ordered four plain hamburgers so I checked the hamburgers after getting our food. All four of the hamburgers weren’t plain so I drove back around and went through the drive thru again. My friends pay me back by adding up the prices on the receipt but since we didn’t receive the receipt we had add it up manually by looking at the menu. When we finally added it up I realized that I was charged $1.20 more than I should’ve been. I didn’t wanna be that person so I didn’t say anything about the money. The thing that I cared about was the hamburgers. We pulled up and the lady said just pull up and we’ll fix that for you. I tell her that I wanted these hamburgers plain and she replied with “Well if you wanted them plain you have to ask for it.” I know for sure that I asked for them plain because all of my friends had heard me say plain before. This wasn’t okay, a worker should never speak to someone like that and she even asked her manager if they should make me more hamburgers. The manager said to make them and that was a relief and then they had us waiting 10 minutes to make four plain hamburgers. Read moreSo, i went to McDonald’s today 12/28 at 4:12pm waiting for my to go order. Once it was completed the manger Nancy threw my food at the counter and said there. I didn’t complain out any service and ask when was the order going to be ready to get this kind of service. Usually the staff are patience and kind but i guess Nancy wasn’t having it.
Yesterday November 10th arrive and placed my family’s order in the drivethru at 10:16am. Busy morning I completely understand the long line. After a placed my order and went to the window to pay they had my wait in parking number 2 cause they were waiting on a round egg to complete my order. After 20 minutes waiting in the parking area. I sent my 18 year old son in to see if they forgot about us and if it wasn’t ready we needed a refund due to an appt. So he waited inside for help of any kind for ten minutes. I just texted my son to come back to the car cause i was done and left without food or refund. So, story is, if you want a round egg it will take more than 45 minutes to make. So, make it easier on the staff and don’t bother ordering a breakfast sandwich with a round egg. Yes, I understand everyone is understaff and overworked.
