I placed an online order for a salad. They texted me that my order is ready. I go to pick it up, and the doors are all locked. Mind you, this is over 2 hours before closing time. I can see several employees inside. I knock on the door glass several times. There is no way they didn't hear. I called the store phone number. They didn't answer. Finally, a customer who had been eating at a table was leaving and opened the door. I went inside. As soon as I walked in, the woman at the counter said "sorry we're closed." I told her that I had an online order that was already paid for and was texted that it was ready. She gave me an annoyed look and said "well sorry but we closed early due to short staffing." I could see 5 employees with my own eyes. Don't know how many people you need at a sandwich shop with no table service, but that seems like enough to me. Anyway, it turned out my salad wasn't really ready yet, but about 10 minutes later, they got it done. Was taking the salad back to work, so I checked in the bag for.utensils. there was a knife but no fork. I told the man that I saw had packed my bag, and he handed me a fork, but once again stated, "Sorry, we're short staffed." Sorry, but I've been to restaurants where there are 2 cooks and 2 servers. They do table service and get everything taken care of. It just seems ridiculous to me that they consider having 5 people working at a sandwich shop being short staffed enough to shut...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend visited here around 4 today. We ordered a dozen cookies and were told to wait 14 minutes for them after waiting over an hour already for our cookies while our food sat on the counter getting cold. The boy that was supposed to put our cookies in the oven, left and did not tell anyone. I spoke to the manager who had no clue what any employees were working on or any oncoming issues of all the late food (not only mine). He did not listen to me as I explained or even asked what was wrong, he offered us a refund and voucher with fresh soup. We accepted and told him we still wanted our cookies. We waited about another 14 minutes with the new soup sitting on the counter getting cold again, until the cashier at the time, who was also very unprofessional and had an attitude, went to bag our cookies. Then the manger, mind you was 2 feet away this whole time while we waited for our cookies after a refund, said “did you need something?” Before telling us we can not take the cookies we ORDERD AND PAID FOR and waited an HOUR AND 30 MINUTES total for because they were his “last cookies”. I will not be coming back to this location, this manager is not good at his job and should be devoted from his position. As someone that was a cashier and manager this is not protocol and it’s not that hard to keep a positive attitude with customers. Do...
Read moreThe level of incompetence throughout the entire front of house staff is utterly shocking. Their online order system is an absolute mess. You get a notificationsaying your order is ready. You show up and they act like this is their first day. Every time. Orders are NEVER in the pickup area where they instruct you to find them. They're always behind the counter. If they can even find them then. I've stood there waiting for 5-10 minutes for an order that said it was ready before I even arrived. And the staff seem unconcerned about the total failure of the system. In fact, I don't think they even have the awareness to realize that something is wrong in the first place. Half of them seem like it's their first customer facing job even though they are middle aged folks. My experience there is always painful. Furthermore, on multiple occasions I have seen employees touching things with bare hands when they shod have gloves, as well as touching dirty thing (eg. Pushing trash down into can) with bare hands and then returning to touch food without washing hands. The (sometimes) convenience and decent quality of food are the only reason I ever come back, and I kick myself for supporting them...
