Ann & Fran's Kitchen — Restaurant in Yarmouth

Went because of the awesome reviews and marketing pics. Went on a busy day once I arrived I was told take out orders were off due to high number of Orders. employees weren’t too nice about it either. Waited 20min to be able to place an order sat outside on the pic nic tables with no umbrellas on a very sunny day with 2 kids. Than 20 more minutes for food which wasn’t as amazing as I expected to be. Just ok! Wrong pancakes. Ordered blueberry ricotta and got just plain pancakes, but I wasn’t gonna wait another 20min for them. Moral of the story if you’ve had an amazing breakfast elsewhere this will be nothing short of your basic breakfast. Nothing memorable.

update for the owner- my review was also respectful as I am entitled to an opinion when I have good or bad service bad reviews happen when you have business it’s just the name of the game . Pandemic or not. you seemed to have enough business to not be suffering from my one review that you could use to turn around and provide exceptional service to your future customers, so they don’t go through the same situation. On this day it was bad and I speak for this one and only experience which. The compote never came. I never said your employees were disrespectful, they were rude and that’s a difference. So maybe it’s time to address some internal issues, because if you don’t see it your customers are. Hopefully you can get your umbrella...

Fantastic experience today at Ann and Fran’s. The food is exceptional and the service/friendliness of the staff is unmatched. I had the lobster Benedict and it far exceeded my expectations. It was served on a pillowy brioche that melted in your mouth, and the corn chow chow was a really nice compliment to the rich lobster (today’s market price was $36). We also tried the strawberry toast as an appetizer. Mascarpone and goat cheese with a strawberry preserve on top with honey- it was sweet and savory in all the right ways! We also got the slow roasted hash, which was absolutely delicious and very flavorful. Space is very limited inside, and although they can accommodate larger parties, you can always expect a wait. On that note- we witnessed a few parties, get called but not report back to the host to stand in a timely manner. The restaurant was extremely accommodating and patient and did their best to ensure people on the list were notified, but there were a lot of angry tourists who didn’t have any patience for a small business. Kudos to the hostess for handling it so well. Would 1000% recommend...

I am so glad we chose this place for breakfast after catching the sunrise at the beach. We got one of the specialty omelets and the blackberry lemon pancakes with sausages. Both excellent. The pancakes are to die for! Light and delicious. I don't know if the syrup was from a bottle or home-made, but it tastes like something special. The space is small but maximized on the seating, and is well thought out. It also felt well-kept and clean.

Service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming so early in the morning. Very attentive and answered our questions about the menu thoughtfully. We never felt rushed even though they were busy. The previous night we dined at another establishment that was questionable in service. Happy to report our experience at Ann & Fran's Kitchen contradicts that treatment in Yarmouth.

I would have loved to take our time with breakfast, enjoy the coffee, sit and relax for a couple of hours. But we had other plans for the morning and they filled up fast!

I definitely recommend this place to everyone...
