I go to many restaurants , but the 99 restaurant is more of a go to when with the kids.
We went out on vacation to cape Cod and came to this location as there are many throughout the mass area , it bothers me that each time I have visited the establishment I only waited if they was full and busy.
We walked in and I saw more then about 6+ tables not being used and we was told to wait about 20 minutes for a table ???đa bit weird when there are multiple tables not being used , cleaned and seems to be ready , we wasnât told why there was a wait either.
Communication is a big key in customer service industry and when the customer can see multiple open tables it would be nice to get a reason why there was a wait.
Because we were sat at a table that we saw was already empty and not being used so a bit more concerned on why they was making us wait
communicate goes a long way!!!!!!!!!
Donât get me started on the service because again in a customer base business itâs nice to greet all customers with a smile on that face ! And carry a good attitude not an ( i canât wait til my shift is over attitude!) Everyone has something going on in there life but when you come to work and are on the floor you need to give good/great customer experience/service âźď¸
Because what makes a repeat customer ? A good experience and a good service that was provided
It seems this crews needs to undergo People development courses âźď¸
Only reason I didnât give it a full 1 star is because wife/kids said they...
Read moreToday, we visited one of the 99 Restaurants locations. Being a Sunday evening, waiting 15â20 minutes for a table was expected, so I donât consider that a minus. We were a party of three: two adults and one child. The order sounded delicious on paper: Ribeye steak, chicken tenders, french fries, and Steak & Cheese flatbread, accompanied by a couple of beers. The bill came to exactly $100.
The service, as always, was excellent: the staff were friendly, smiling, and welcoming. Everything matched our previous positive experiences with this chain⌠but this time, something happened that we didnât expect.
Right outside the entrance, there was a strong, persistent smell of burnt grill. My assumption is that the grill grate hadnât been cleaned since the start of the shift. This also affected the main dish â the Ribeye steak. Instead of a juicy, perfectly cooked cut of meat, we were served a charred steak: the fat was black, and the taste had a strong bitterness that couldnât be masked. And for $30 â it was a complete disappointment. I wonât be ordering this steak again.
To be fair, the rest of the food was excellent â a solid five out of five. But the aftertaste of this visit wasnât culinary, it was emotional â and unfortunately, it came with a hint...
Read moreHad dinner on 9/14/24 after years of not going to any 99 dinner. We arrived at 8 so was a little concerned but they had several groups arrive after us. They offer you popcorn which we said yes however, it was cold and stale. We didnât do appetizers because it was already a late meal for us. Husband ordered a burger with fries, I ordered chicken tenders with fries & corn. Husbands burger was cooked a bit over medium but was still nice and juicy. The roll however, was not great it was on the harder side, fries were perfect nice & hot. Unfortunately, though my meal was not good. The chicken tenders were dark and not crunchy at all they were clearly placed in old dirty oil, and then to make it worst cold fries and the corn zero flavor so bad tasting I spit them out in my napkin. Waiter Tim the waiter was great he saw me eating my husbandâs fries and said stealing fries and then I said yes because mine are cold. He without missing a beat said Iâll get some new ones. New fries were great very hot. I didnât mention the poor chicken tenders Iâm always worried about sending meals back at restaurants. Itâs not that they didnât taste ok they just werenât hot and or crispy at all. Not sure they would get us as a...
