I have tried to overlook all the issues at this Jimmys Egg. The 3rd time is the last time I am overlooking it. 1st time I had a problem with one particular waitress saying to another waitress âOh your favorite customer is hereâ This stemmed from me asking for another waitress because of a personal issue with a family member and that waitress. I just always tried to stear clear. Yukonâs a small town overlook things.. sometimes is a good motto. So I tried again to eat there..this time sat at the counter for 15 minutes and was no service.. 2 others came up to counter and were waited on immediately. When I mentioned I had been there first.. I was talked talked to very poorly. So much that I got up and walked out. So today 2 weeks later was going to be my giving it one last shot day. I went in and got there at around 9:05 to make an order to go. Someone asked me for a drink order got that. Sat for 10 minutes before was asked again about ordering.. made order and sat there until 9:55.. others..customers had come..eaten and gone!!!! I final asked what was taking so long and was told that they were waiting for a hard boiled egg. So at 10:04 So all the rest of food was cold and it took almost an hour for a hard boiled egg. Please.. when asked about compensation for my time.. I was told there was nothing the manager could do. So I got cold food and waited all that time. Still had to pay for it. So while it is convenient.. I will not be returning.. Third strike and you are out. If I could buy the business. I would fire at least 5 people that are waitresses. You never know I might inquire. In the mean time I will take by $money$ elsewhereâŚwhich is my prerogative. Just like it is my prerogative to leave...

After getting our coffees, we waited 10 minutes for silverware (needed a spoon to stir cream into the coffee) and I actually got up and asked the hostess and another waitress who were standing and talking. My waitress finally turned up and said they were really backed up because an accident in the kitchen an hour before had them off their rhythm.
Now I can understand that. It's always a shake up when a staff member gets hurt, so I could excuse the wait. But then the restaurant starting clearing out, and the wait staff was just yakking and gabbing among themselves and with the regular customers. I saw my food sit on the counter for several minutes and nobody picked it up.
The worst part is after waiting an extremely long time for my omelettes, the food I was served was disgusting slop. No other way to say it. Accidents and a busy kitchen don't account for gristly bacon or the hard stump off the end of the ham being cooked into the food, not to mention eggs that were either completely tasteless or had a strange bitter, sour kind of taste.
My mom and I didn't even finish our food. We paid and walked out. I'll be surprised if this Jimmy's Egg lasts the year. I guess the owner could use it as a tax write-off. It's not good for much...
Read moreWe can't imagine anyone being disappointed, unless their the sort of person who suffers from uncontrollable tantrums due to post election syndrome or some other disorder which prevents experiencing one of the best restaurants in Oklahoma.
This dinner is a must for those who appreciate a terrific diner. The omelets are fabulous, including the opinion to personally customize. A terrific variety is offered from their menu.
The staff are quite attentive and the place is mostly clean, if perhaps maintenence of the appearance is badly neglected. It's almost as if management wants to discourage visit with the horrendous landscaping abandonment, but the food is quite overshadowing if one is capable of moving past judging a book by its cover or tossing the baby out with the bathwater.
I highly suspect that most people will greatly appreciate the quality of food and service. Disappointment is a rarity. Primarily a breakfast diner, closing at 2pm each day. Early birds...
One of the best restaurants Oklahoma offers. The atmosphere is sort of a flash from...
