Been Hanoi twice and second time went straight here. Menu with prices offered in English although does not fully explain what you are getting. I got grilled beef with mustard. Came out with grilled beef and a selection of greens like carrot, cucumber, pineapple some other stuff that I don’t know what it was. Bia Hoi review only as all I did here was drink. The food menu was the biggest I saw in Hanoi and all the locals were having food, but it wasn't on my list as a place to ear.

But it was on my list of places to drink. The servers are fun and energetic and happy to keep your glass full. The beers go down easy on a hot Hanoi afternoon or evening. Only 10,000 VND per glass (probably around a pints-worth).

Sit down and enjoy a beer and salty chicken by a busy junction. The train is visible when it goes past.

We accidentally over ordered, and felt embarrassed to have to leave so much food behind.

That being said, the locals were friendly and we even had a random ask to sit and join us with his son. He didn't know very much English and thankfully wasn't there to sell us anything.

Overall a great open air, roadside dining...
