ANGRY AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR
Went into this restaurant at 530, there was a waiter sleeping inside. He woke up and invited us in and didn’t say a word or give us menus.
There was no one else in the restaurant and no one in the kitchen, the waiter was frantically ringing several people on the phone.
After 10 mins we decided to leave the restaurant as we were travelling with 2 young children and it was unknown when they would be able to serve/ prepare food.
When we left the waiter started shouting at us and swearing at us telling us to never come back. He was angry and irate for no reason, he had not given us menus or communicated to us when we could order.

Absolutely incredible. Best food we have had in Vietnam by a country mile. Would highly recommend the Fried Aubergine dish, as an avid meat eater, it was absolutely divine and such incredible flavour balance. Would also MASSIVELY RECOMMEND doing his cooking course. Cost about 900k for 2 people including tip, but you have enough food for 2 days and an unforgettable experience. Any comments on here about rude behaviour are incredibly frustrating. The man works by himself, from 6am to midnight everyday, only having help every now and again from his sister. An incredibly inspiring person, and his craft is second to none. A hidden gem! This place was affordable, adorable, and seemingly undiscovered by a lot of tourists. We ordered the grilled eggplant with seafood, cap lau, and fish in banana leaf, and spent the whole meal talking about how amazing the food was. We also ordered the fresh spring rolls as I heard that portion sizes were on the smaller side, but next time I would skip these (nothing special in comparison to main) and maybe share another main dish as the overall flavours of those were insane. Bup is lovely and smiley which added an amazing ambience to our dinner, and prices seemed considerably more affordable than nearby restaurants. 10/10...
