Dropped by the Highlands Coffee at Bà Triệu Street in Hội An today—literally just right around the corner from the famous Bánh Mì Phượng, so it’s a great stop after grabbing a bite there.
This branch is part of the popular Vietnamese coffee chain that’s been around since 1999, and while it’s everywhere across Vietnam, it still manages to feel clean, consistent, and chill.
The café itself is small but cozy, with both indoor air-conditioned seating and a few outdoor tables if you want to soak in the local vibes.
It wasn’t too crowded when I visited, which made it a nice break from the heat and walking.
I got an iced Americano, a hot latte, and a slice of cake. The cake was soft and not overly sweet—pretty decent. But the coffee? A little on the light side.
The Americano lacked that strong, bold kick I usually go for, and the latte was smooth but didn’t have much punch either.
Not bad at all, just could’ve been stronger. Maybe next time I’ll ask for an extra shot.
