Thành Nam Quán (탄남꽌) _ Vietnamese Restaurant — Restaurant in Hội An

We enjoyed this place so much, we ate here two nights in a row. The first night we both had their pho, and fried wontons. Best wontons we’ve had yet and the pho was incredible flavourful. I also had their lemon ginger honey drink and im obsessed. The second night we both had one of their pork rib dishes with the rice on the side. We dumped our rice into the dish so it could soak up all the amazing flavour. By far the best food I’ve had in Vietnam. The family that owns the place is very attentive and kind and the cute dog is a bonus for us as we’re animal lovers. The ambiance is perfect. Every time I saw a new couple reading the street side menu, I wanted to yell to them to come in and eat cause it’s so good! We might come back a third time before we leave!...

I was excited to try this place, because of the good reviews. The food was flavorful and good, but the service left much to be desired. I asked if a dish came with rice, and it did not, so I switched to order pho instead.

Out came the extra dish that I originally decided not to take since it did not come with rice. When I brought this up, they said that I did not cancel that order. The server should have confirmed the dishes that were ordered. Having to pay for an extra dish made the experience unpleasant and made me not enjoy my meal.

There should have not been any confusion, as I speak both English and Vietnamese. If this restaurant wants to do well, they need to get rid of this...

I was looking for a good and highly reviewed place to have some beef pho during my trip to Hoi An.

I am glad I found this place. I went to eat at about 2.30pm, so there wasn’t anyone.

I was very pleased with the presentation of the food, and the taste of both the soup and beef!

I should have said less Pho, as the noodles was too much for me.

I also asked for help from the shop owner on where I can find Vietnamese pancakes, and she directed me to another shop down the road.

This Pho was so much better than a chain restaurant I tried in HCMC.
