I recently visited Bami Bread, a sandwich shop known for their Egg Banh Mi. While my experience was decent overall, there were a few aspects that left me wanting more.
Let's start with the positives. The Egg Banh Mi had some enjoyable elements. The bread was fresh and had a nice crust, although it could have been a bit more flavorful. The eggs were cooked adequately, but I found them slightly overdone for my liking. The combination of vegetables added a refreshing crunch to the sandwich, but the overall flavor profile fell a bit flat. It lacked the depth and complexity I had hoped for.
The service at Bami Bread was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and took my order promptly. However, I found the level of attentiveness to be average, and there was nothing particularly memorable about the service experience.
The atmosphere of the sandwich shop was pleasant enough. The seating was comfortable, and the space was clean. However, the overall ambiance felt a bit generic, lacking a distinctive character or charm that would make the dining experience more memorable.
One aspect that disappointed me was the limited menu options. While the Egg Banh Mi was decent, it would have been nice to have more variety and additional sandwich choices to cater to different tastes. This lack of variety made the overall experience somewhat monotonous.
In terms of value for money, Bami Bread was reasonably priced. However, given the average quality of the Egg Banh Mi and the lack of variety, I felt that the price could have been slightly lower to better reflect the overall experience.
In summary, my visit to Bami Bread left me with mixed feelings. While the Egg Banh Mi had some positive elements, such as fresh bread and a pleasant crunch from the vegetables, it fell short in terms of flavor and overall enjoyment. The limited menu options and generic atmosphere also contributed to my average experience. With some improvements in flavor, variety, and creating a more distinctive dining experience, Bami Bread has the potential to elevate their offerings and appeal to a wider range of customers.

Read moreI came here due to several recommendations of this place being the best and was pleasantly surprised.
Upon lining up the ladies had a system going and were moving through orders like lightning.
After ordering the BBQ Chicken I waited about 3/5min before it came out nice and warm and it was handed to me. The bread was crunchy on the outside and so soft and fluffy in the inside.
The Chicken Banh Mi was flavourful, full of ingredients and packed with a tiny punch. I did however feel like it was missing something?
The boys who were sitting next to me did say that however the chicken is delicious, their special is by far the best and I should come back to try that one. They also said that the chicken is a 4/5, but not a solid 5 yet.
I am however extremely curious about their special banh mi and will edit this review when I have tried that!
Overall a good experience, I recommend coming here and enjoying my banh mi. The que can get long, yet the ladies had that perfectly under control! My waiting time before I could order was maybe around 10min?...
Read moreI am really becoming a fan of the little chairs and tables outside of shops to enjoy dining outside. It truly has been a memorable experience. I tried a lot of banh mi from different places while in Hanoi and I am going to review them all to find the best. I ordered a grilled chicken banh mi from bami bread for only 30K. The service was excellent as I asked them to remove the mayonnaise as I cannot eat eggs. The sandwich overall had a pleasant taste. The bread was crispy just like a French baguette should be and yet was soft inside. The grilled chicken had a really nice taste on its own and was cooked well to keep it moist. Also, the coriander is a nice component to add some freshness to the sandwich, but I found too much was added overpowering the flavour from the chicken. For me components of this sandwich were excellent, but when they were put together they didn't quite blend. I don't think anything needs to be removed but the ratios need to be looked at. Still, the ingredients seemed of high quality and their bread is definitely high on...
