Hiked the trail with friends up to the fork that splits. Beautiful views throughout and somewhat divides into three different areas. Totals to around 12 km with 1500 m of elevation for one way.
First portion is a lot of gravel and rocks among some trees. Second portion is more dirt and rocks in a thicker forest. Last portion is really nice with a lot of small streams and beautiful meadows.
Note that there were TONS of bugs and even with bug spray they kept following. Some sections were a little bit sketchy as you had to cross very small rocky paths. Also, you aren’t allowed to enter the meadows themselves due to the “fragile vegetation.”

BC parks still refuse to repair the road because Whister Blackcomb says the road will interfere with their summer mountain bike park.
