Visited on sunday evening with reservation for 1.5h, got escorted to our table, which was next to the dishwasher, asked to be moved and they moved us to the second closest table to the dishwasher. Even tho most of the restaurant was empty(we pressumed the restaurant was fully booked), they maybe had 5 tables seated at the time. Starters we quite nice, we had the tartar and carpaccio. After finishing our starter we already managed to empty our cocktails, waiters passing by- clearing our table, bringing main course didnt care to offer any more drinks, nor did they asked if we liked the main course. Had to send the steak back because it was a bit more on the rare side, but a new one came back pretty quick, which was nice. For our sides we ordered mashed potatoes and fries. The potato mash was very bland and starchy, would recommend getting fries they were better. All in all it took us 1.5h to go thru starter and main course, we decided to not have dessert. When we were leaving we could see that the restaurant didnt fill up, meaning we were sitting next to the dish area all night( which was quite noisy), would have been nice to sit somewhere more quite. All in all 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 cocktails all for 1500kr is...

We dinned there last summer - 3 - 5 times we asked politely and patiently, if they would be sweet to turn down the High Pop music when we could not talk to the loud music. With 2 pcs. speaker just above our table. To see what would happen, we wrote an email to Mash and got some will probably think (taking the high expense into account), a flippant response that did dismissed us and answered our mail, then we called and talk to restaurant manager, who was also outside the scope of educational and here we also got a cheeky answer - thanks Mash.
Read moreAn Evening at Mash – Or: How to Burn €120 per person.
I walked into Mash in Copenhagen expecting a classy evening. Expectations? High. Reality? A disaster – much like the wine they served me. Yes, I tasted it. No, it wasn’t good. And instead of a shred of hospitality, the waiter opted for a masterclass in indifference. No questions, no solutions – just a shrug that screamed, “Your problem, not mine.”
When I dared to point out the dismissive attitude, things escalated. The waiter’s tone became even sharper, dripping with condescension. After that? Radio silence. They ignored me with such precision that it almost felt intentional. For €120 a head, I might have expected at least a small gesture – maybe an espresso to wash down the bitterness of the experience. But at Mash, you only get the check and the sinking realization that you could have spent your money anywhere else.
Verdict: Save your cash and your sanity. At this price point, Copenhagen has far better options – with better wine and...
