While we didn’t get to personally visit, I thought it would be of use for others to know our experience. My husband and I planned our trip to Chamonix around multiple places we wanted to visit and eat. We were so looking forward to eating here with the recommendations and research I had done. I booked our reservation about 10+ weeks in advance. The night of our reservation, we got a phone call from the staff asking us to change our time due to “a larger groups is now coming at the same time as us and we couldn’t refuse them.” After my husband and I debated on what to do, we fortunately had a wonderful concierge at our hotel made us reservations elsewhere. Bread was perfect (I am really a bread-lover), and we enjoyed the chocolate dessert. A few sweat treats closed our meal with elegance.
The red, cozy decor of the dining room, with a center fireplace, felt really christmas-y.
Thanks to the Matafan team for a...
