My family and I recently stayed at Novotel Paris Center and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. While the lobby and common areas of the hotel were pleasant and inviting, the overall service and condition of the rooms left much to be desired. Firstly, the service I received from the hotel staff was condescending and unhelpful. I encountered a dismissive attitude from the moment we arrived, and it persisted throughout our stay. When we approached the reception desk to express our discomfort with the room and bed (super uncomfortable), the staff did not allow me to fully explain my concerns. Their lack of attentiveness and unwillingness to address my issues only added to my frustration. The lady never let me finish my sentences and said they were busy and will pass my concerns to the manager (which never happened). Speaking of the rooms, they were disappointingly outdated and in need of maintenance. The furnishings appeared worn and tired, and it was evident that the hotel hadn't invested in updates for quite some time. The bathroom had mold stains on the ceiling, some tiles were broken, and the floor was coming apart. The most ridiculous set up was the toilet in a different room, without sink, so if you wanted to wash your hands you needed to go to the other bathroom with the shower and bathtub. The lack of attention to detail was evident, the carpet was disgusting, I can see blond hair the minute we arrived and none of us is blond. They never moved the sofa to clean underneath it, I found old objects that didn't belong to us and tons of dust. Which was very annoying since we had a baby crawling around. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was subpar. On one occasion, despite having the "Do Not Disturb" sign prominently displayed, the housekeeping staff entered my room to just fix the bed, and replace towels, which we didn't need, and was a breach of our privacy. We literally arrived that night. It's disheartening when a hotel's only redeeming qualities are limited to the lobby and common areas. While these spaces were well-maintained and visually appealing, they failed to make up for the overall poor experience we had during our stay. The hotel entrance is not accessible, you need to enter through the employee door and it's very dirty, walls need paint and floors need a deep cleaning. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other accommodations that prioritize guest comfort, a better cleaning situation and satisfaction.

In general, the experience at the Novotel Tour Eiffel Paris hotel was more like that of a 3-star hotel and not more. The hotel's surroundings are not very inviting, somewhat dirty, and not pleasant. There are train stations within about a 10-second walk, such as Javel, Bir Hakiem, and Charles Michels. It's also about a 10-second walk from the Eiffel Tower, which is nice. The location is not central, so you'll have to rely on the metro to access most parts of Paris. There aren't many places to go for coffee, beer, or food in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Near the Eiffel Tower, there are some options, but they are mostly touristy and not of high quality. You won't find bakeries close by, but there are quality food shops like those in the city center, which is somewhat limiting. As for the rooms, it was a huge disappointment. We were a couple with two teenage children, ages 14 and 11, as indicated in the room reservation. We received a family room, but everything was small and cramped. The biggest disappointment was the sofa bed, which felt like a cheap, springy mattress. This is not at all suitable for a 4-star hotel or a chain like Novotel. The bed itself was uncomfortable and made us wake up with back pain, and it was impossible to move without creaking loudly. It's simply disrespectful to guests. Moreover, the carpet smelled bad and seemed like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Overall, it was dirty, and we even saw food crumbs or snacks. In the bathroom, they didn't provide shower gel and shampoo when we checked in, and even after we asked, they didn't do it until the second time we requested it. In the evening, they didn't even answer the phone at the reception and the housekeeping department, so we gave up. Toilet paper was provided in a single roll for a room with four people, and we had to ask for more each time. In general, the room was poorly maintained and looked old and worn out. It was not enjoyable to be in the room. On the positive side, there is a Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby (although it didn't work when we tried it) and taps to fill water and soda for free with your own bottle or cup. I wouldn't stay here again, both because of the room quality and the location. The price would have to be very low to justify not staying in a different hotel in the city center.

Stayed here for my birthday and it was really nice! Looking at the hotel from the outside it doesn’t look like much but when you walk in it’s absolutely beautiful. The rooms are just a standard size but comes with a safety deposit box which is really easy to use, the beds are really comfy and comes with a bath and a shower. The only downside of the room is that it’s really warm now it wasn’t warm outside but the rooms were really warm and the rooms do come with aircon but they are really loud, and even with air con on it doesn’t cool them down much. The breakfast is really good they have plenty of options available and start at 6am-10am through the week and 11am at the weekends so you’ve got enough time to get breakfast and the staff are very polite and friendly when seating you. The rooms are cleaned daily and the maids are very friendly. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff always look presentable and professional. The location is really good as well as it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and you can see it when you come out of the hotel and if you walk across the road to the bridge you can take really good pictures of it. There is a metro 10 minutes away to get to other places around Paris as well which is only 2 euro 15. If you get a room high up also you get a really good view of Paris. We didn’t realise that there was an extra charge to use the pool so we didn’t end up using the pool or the fitness suite, as we wasnt told that when we booked, we only found that out when we got here, but never mind. If you’re looking for somewhere nice to eat I’d recommend the restaurant next door to the hotel called Indiana cafe it’s an American restaurant, it’s really nice and they do a happy hour on cocktails from 5-8 too! I’d highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again, thank you!

The worst hotel of my Euro Trip, google says 4 starts but it shouldn't have more than 1 star. Firstly, on my check-in, the attendant told me the gym was open until 8 p.m., I went there at 6:50 p.m. and couldn't access it as it was closing at 7 pm. Secondly, I’ve requested an Iron clothing at the desk and got told someone would bring it to my room. After showering (30min) nobody brought me it, I called reception and they told me there were no Iron available, 30 min later someone gave an iron and a broken iron board, I took it to reception to ask for help on how to open the board and they laughed at me, they tried to open then they realized it was broken as I mentioned. The shower was horrible as the water goes everywhere, the bathroom gets completely wet due to a little glass door. On my last night, I bought some food and drinks for the next morning's breakfast, guess what? The fridge was broken and I lost my food, money and breakfast. On my checkout I wanted to share my disappointment at the reception and I was shocked by the receptionist treatment with the previous guest in front of me. The attendant was turning her eyes at the guest. Once I started talking about my room issues she said sorry and mentioned that the Frigobar was only for keeping things chill but not for refrigerating 😂. And only said sorry for everything else. Overall, my family had chosen this hotel to be the best of our trip and the most costly and even their own amenities had broken taps at the toilets. A dirty pillowcase was left behind on our room chair Regina and Pedro was unprofessional and rude to the guests. We will never be back and it is a shame for the NOVOHOTEL, an IBIS budget may deliver a better experience, price and standards. The only good thing I can mention is the location.
