Tamada, the toast master. Recovered from the West of Georgia. It's a bronze sculpture in the middle of a busy street. On a busy day you'd find people waiting to get a photo with this bronzified celebrity. Make sure you visit this chill dude when you come to Tbilisi. A very affectionate guy and doesn't mind if you get too close. Doesn't talk much though. With all the people around it could be easy to miss, and hard to find on Google maps, so better keep an eye out.

Cheers! Salute! Sağol! Skål! Cheers! 乾杯!Happy! This small statue is the very popular ode to the tamada, the Georgian toastmaster who leads a supra. The supra is a traditional festival that is an important part of Georgian social culture. There are two types of supras: the keipi, a cheerful party or banquet (i.e. a wedding party) and the kelekhi, the gathering after a funeral.

Tomada – mistrz toastów w Gruzji Tomada to osoba prowadząca ucztę – supra, czyli tradycyjny gruziński stół. To on decyduje, kiedy pijemy, o czym mówimy i w jakiej kolejności wznoszone są toasty.
