One of the best experiences and a great way to see the sights of Anchorage. The path follows the coast for some wonderful views. Of on bike, you can get all the way to the airport and even visit the sea port. There are a few really rough patches, but for the most part it's a great path with numerous places along the way for a rest. If it sprinkles, there are enough trees to stop under to stay dry. You are pretty much guaranteed to see moose, as not only did I see them, but coworkers on two other days also saw them. Be considerate and don't block the path while taking in views, talking to family, or stopping for a break, as several did. For the most part, tho, everyone was very considerate.

Awesome trail to walk, bike, or run. Endless opportunities to travel in multiple directions. Lots of tunnels, bridges, flats, and hills. Makes for a decently strenuous long distance run. I would give it 5 stars but there are homeless camps all over the place who build campfires in the woods. Scenery is excellent especially by the water.

We truly enjoyed this trail; upon arriving in anchorage it was an easy choice to cap off the day before dinner.

My ride was in winter on a Fat-tire bike, for context. This trail is absolutely beautiful. It takes you past some good spots for views of downtown before going straight through earthquake park. Following that is a section of the trial perfect for watching airplanes take off from the cargo runway at the airport, and to end the 9 mile dream, it dumps you into Kincaid park. For the majority of the trail, if the sky is clear and sunny like the day I went out, you will be able to see Denali off on the horizon. But it is 9-miles with some small inclines here and there. I certainly burned some...
