I’m on a GLP-1 journey. #Trizepatide edition! Curious to know if anyone else is all about the #edamame ? I purchase the individual packets made by @Seapoint Farms at @@Walmartin the frozen section.

Edit 2: the response is now from a William F instead of a Priscilla Edit: just received a rude response from Priscilla C. on Yelp including: “it’s ‘difficult to respond to this review’ because it was ‘medical services rendered three years ago’ so I am updating my review here as well! Great! I was still forced into unsafe conditions and I am warning people because no one deserves to be put in actual danger from missing medications. Your doctors were still abusive and negligent; maybe you could look into that instead of being rude to me on Yelp? This place literally deserves negative stars ——- Coming here was the worst experience of my entire life. First of all, they told me they accepted my insurance; then after I came out of my appointment they told me they actually did not and charged me. But even worse was during the appointment. I had just moved to Austin from Dallas and didn't have any doctors in town yet. I had been prescribed medicine for several years and just needed my refill. I expected it to be a normal experience, I even brought bottles with MY name on it and dates. I was treated like TRASH. I have never been spoken to like that before or since. I was insulted then forced to take a drug test while a male doctor was right outside the door. Literally standing there in front of the bathroom door like a bouncer?? The way he spoke to me was degrading and sick. I sat outside and cried before I drove home with 1/4 of my medicine that I'd been taking regularly for years. Medicine that isn't safe to just stop. The doctors here are greedy and treat people like animals. It was emotionally damaging not to mention how I suffered physically from my lack of medication. That's called MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE. Don't go here unless you have a lawyer on speed dial.

This is my 10th year as a patient at Victory Medical AND have been having a better and better experiences and care every year!! My special appreciations to one of the best, most intelligent, and kindest provider at this clinic: Shawn Agenbroad-Elander. He ALWAYS gives you his BEST medical advice and care, not to mention his outstanding service with his beautiful smile! Thank you Shawn for all your care and kindness during the past five years. His staff are great, Jacob is my favorite, he sure is on top of everything and a great assistance to Shawn as Shawn is so busy ALL THE TIME!! Kyla is so sweet and helpful, she makes sure all go smooth for patients. I personally thank Dr. Franklin for his outstanding leadership and being my physician for many years. Many thanks to Kim Wiley for all her help for several years. Mehrdad Vatani, Ph.D. OUTSTADING clinic with wonderful staff! Shawn has been my best physician for many years. He is the most knowledgeable, caring, professional, and kind individual. Thank you Shawn for taking care of me and my family! In may last visit, I met Shaw's assistance, Mr. Jacob. He is on top of all Shawn's portal, prescription and patient responses. Jacob is a nice and caring person. Jordan, at the front desk, is great and very helpful! Every time I call, if I am lucky, I get to talk to Ms. Miranda. She is great and helpful. My special thanks to Victory Medical, their staff, and most of all to Dr. Franklin for his leadership to lead and make this clinic such a success!! Mehrdad Vatani, Ph.D. The medical team, the staff, and the clinic gets better and better every time I visit Victory Medical Clinic. Shawn has been my hero with his superb attitude, his experience, excellent medical advice, his care, and kindness. Thank you Shawn sincerely! Lisa Flynn, his assistant is well-experienced and ALWAYS goes out of her way to bring the best support and help during my visit. I am very pleased and happy to have Victory Medical as my primary health center and of course, my specail thanks to Dr. Franklin and his leadership! Mehrdad Vatani, Ph.D. I have been a patient at Victory Medical over 10 years now and have had the best care and attention for my health at this clinic. It is the people, medical staff and the administrative which makes this clinic to stand out to its best! My most and best health provider during the past few years has been Shawn Agenbroad-Elander. He truly pays attention to my health needs and ALWAYS exceeds my expectations and ALWAYS goes the extra mile for me to make sure all needed tests are ordered and follows up with he results with me. I am very pleased to have him as my primary care physician and looking forward to working with him for the years to come! Thank you dear Shawn! Of course other staff are as the team which makes this clinic the best, name just a few whom I can recall: Venessa and Nicole, and of course Sherrie Zamora (my favorites staff!), and Yessy who has a great patient care and follows up with all my questions and appointments. Thanks to all of you and Victory Medical for such superb staff and care! Mehrdad Vatani, Ph.D. This is my second review and feedback on Victory Medical since three years ago: Excellent clinic with wonderful staff! The clinic is well organized, well managed, well operated, with extremely clean and neat environment! I have been a patient at Victory Medical for over 10 years now and have been impressed with the quality of their service and their staff every time I go for my appointment.

Of course, one reason is Dr. Franklin with his great leadership and by his direct involvement of the clinic's activites and operations, not to mention his outstanding medical experience and knowledge in medicine and his practice as one of the great...

I’ve been going to Victory Medical for over 20 years.

Here is a recent experience.

A week and a half ago I went to the hospital because my right ankle was throbbing, tight, stiff, and radiating pain. I had no idea what happened, where the pain came from, or what caused the injury. So I went to the ER, and the doctor that came to examine me didn’t really examine me. He touched below and above the talus while asking if it hurt. And then said that “you have an Achilles tendon tear”. Then he began talking to me about the opioid crisis that’s happening in our world. That has nothing to do with me, or why i was there. I have no idea why he was talking to me about the opioid crisis. He told me to take 600 mg of ibuprofen for four days and then start looking for calf exercises. He didn’t even send in a prescription for me. It’s as if he was thinking I was there to get drugs. When really I was there to find out what the heck is happening with my ankle and why it hurts so much. So I did just that; took ibuprofen and did a few calf workouts, but I wasn’t overdoing it. A week and a half later, after taking 600mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours for 12 days because of the pain, I realize that it is getting worse. And i started getting concerned for taking ibuprofen for so long.

So today I went to Victory Medical. Had an x-ray, a full ankle and calf examination, I was told that I have tendinitis. I also got EDUCATION on the difference between Achillies tendons tear and tendinitis. The doctor prescribed me some anti-inflammatory meds and a steroid FOR MY INJURY. The doctor also went above and beyond, and told me that she noticed that my shoe was not even with my boots for my ankle, and she recommended I Wear a shoe that is even with the boot because I will have further problems if not.

I’m a little frustrated right now because this pain could have gone away much sooner had I gotten the right guidance earlier. In this case, I did need meds, but my focused was on my pain and what to do.

Thank you Victory Medical. Thank you for not making me feel like y’all think I’m there to get opioids or narcotics. Thank you for helping me today and giving me the correct diagnosis, and showing that you really care. I hope that doctor can see...

My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. As my primary care physician (PCP) provider, their responsibility includes sending timely referrals for my other doctor appointments, but they have repeatedly failed in this basic task. I am writing this after months of struggling with their failure to process or communicate about a referral to a specialist. I strongly advise against choosing this clinic as your PCP healthcare provider due to their unprofessionalism and utter disregard for patient well-being.

Victory Medical's failure to send referrals on time has resulted in multiple canceled appointments with my other doctors. This has not only inconvenienced me but has also caused me to waste valuable time and money. It is extremely frustrating to make arrangements with other healthcare professionals, only to have to cancel at the last minute due to Victory Medical's incompetence.

Furthermore, their communication skills leave much to be desired. It takes an unreasonable long time for them to respond to inquiries, leaving patients in a state of uncertainty and frustration. This lack of responsiveness only exacerbates the problem, making it impossible to plan or manage healthcare appointments effectively.

They never seemed to be internally organized and was always left waiting to hear back from x or y staff member. The excessive amount of time they take to process a simple referral is unprofessional. Not only is this clinic costing me time and money, but it is also putting my health at risk. Missed appointments mean delayed diagnosis, and postponed treatments. It is unacceptable for a healthcare provider to exhibit such negligence and disregard for their patients' well-being.

Save yourself the frustration and seek a more competent and reliable clinic for your medical needs and...
