I started sing this station regularly in april 2022 and I haven't ever had an issue leaving Camden Station. The trains leave like clock work. The staff are friendly. The Station is clean and has recycling containers. Each seat has working outlets. There are bike racks. There are places to transport bikes with you on the train. This station is in the same location as the light rail and is 15 min walk from the Lexington and Charles station metro stops. You get off the station and you're right downtown! You can use the charm pass app to buy tickets for the marc, lightrail, and metro. However, over the past 4 months I can remember 4 times when there was a huge issue leaving DC, which prenvented me getting back to Camden. Either the train never appeared at Union Station (still confused about how that can happen) or there was a signal problem causing the train to go 20 miles an hour or ...like this week a storm caused debris to block the tracks. So, we had to return to Union Station. In every situation, the solution more experienced MARC riders suggested was to take the Penn line and then figure the rest out from there. I'm skeptical. How can these issues impact the Camden Marc, but not the Penn Marc? Anyway, I've ridden the train about 40 times and have only had 4 issues. So while the issues were huge, as long as your destination is Baltimore you'll be able to get home. If you're going anywhere in between Baltimore and DC on the Camden line, you need to have Uber money 💰 saved. So, this station may have 5 stars, but the train has 3. Hopefully, I'll be able to up my rating soon. It would be reallllly nice to have one round trip from Cambden on Saturdays and Sundays. If it left Cambden at like 9am from Bmore and returned around 9pm, it might promote the use of the train and local tourism.

Step off the light rail tram and there Oriole Park next stop is Raven Plaza at M&T Bank Stadium. Walk down Conway St. and there's the Inner Harbor

The Camden Line into Washington Union Station is almost always late. We've been told this is because of the freight trains. I don't care if the Camfen Line is older than the Penn Line, commuters are still paying for monthly passes with expectations of both departing and arriving on time. I should'nt have to experience a 10 - 15 minute delay 3 out of the 5 days of a week.

And you guys need to stop pulling up / letting us off / departing at the farthest possible gate upon arrival and / or departure to & from Union Station! As we're walking towards the entrance, gates 8, 9, 10 and / or 11 are always empty.

MTA treats the Camden Line HORRIBLY, and it's not fair, especially since we are paying the SAME amount in monthly passes as commuters on the Penn Line.

Something...

i have taken this marc line three days. once, fine. second time, 98 minute delay, third, straight up cancelled. oh, and you are never notified this happening before you get to the station, not via the transit app, the MARC website or anything. sadly, this train line is a joke for commuters looking to reliably get to and from...
