I could have had a better experience if I didn’t get a snappy attitude from an employee named James. I spent too much money and drove too long to have had an experience like that at this park. I was in line to get into this play place they have for little kids and James had told me that if I went in my daughter would only have 10 minutes to play. Mind you James never explain why I would have only 10 minutes or if he would let people back in after the 10 minutes. I was confused to what he meant. So I said okay then I will wait then he got snappy and told me, Why would you wait? Then he confused me again so I was like okay so is it okay to go or not I didn’t really understand why he even got snappy. Then he told me I had to make up my mind if I wanted to go in or not because I had changed my mind almost 3 times. Yet he is the one that never explained how the play place worked or how long the kids originally had to play and when will he let other people in. Since my daughter really wanted to play I told him we were just going in. He then rolled his eyes and let us in. After the 10 minutes were over I asked him for his name and where I could go to speak to his supervisor. Then he told me why did I need to speak with his supervisor for. I told him to make a complaint because the attitude he had was not acceptable for the families that come visit and if he didn’t like working with people he should reconsider the job choice he made he then said he didn’t care for my opinion. When I spoke with the supervisor he said he would address it to him so hopefully he did. The supervisor tried to make it up to me but the damage was already done and ruined my stay with that one interaction with James. Also your kids need to be 48in tall to ride the rides that are more fun so if your kid is not tall enough don’t bother...
Read moreOof... This experience is a two part review. The pros and cons are as follows: Pros: Decent price point for all day band. Top Notch Policy for those living with a disability, as well as many rides having accessibility to their platforms. Amazing variety of rides FOR MANY Cons: Prices for individual ride tickets are expensive! Snack options are so so. Having a couple of vendors with options like hot dogs, pretzels, fruit, ECT in the park vs having to go out in the mall would be very beneficial for parents with smaller kids who are only visiting the mall for the park itself. Iykyk. Lastly.. And I will say it like it is.... NOT FAT FRIENDLY!! NOT BIG FRIENDLY!! Let me explain. For people 48 inch or taller there are only 2 rides with lap bars, If you are top heavy, very full chested, there is a chance you will do the walk of shame for most of the rides with shoulder harnesses. Now there are for most little green lights that indicate if you are good or not, but sitting you can't see it. The operators will try to push you into green, but if it doesn't work, be prepared to do the walk while all the phobes make gestures and comments. I think it would be a great edition to have what other modern parks are adding, like test seats at the front of the ride that you could pretest "the green light". This prevents humiliation, holding up the line, and would bring back customers. Not everyone stays big forever, but the scars from those experiences may last long enough to not make you want to return. Another thing some parks are doing is adding a couple plus seats per ride, or harness adapters which help the fasteners buckle down. Just a few ideas, but may really help change the experience for some.
Overall a very cool experience, we will...
Read moreThis park is super awesome! Very cool rides, I love how they included Avatar in the ride themes, It’s one of my favorites!!!! I really liked the method of purchasing tickets and wristbands, it was very efficient. I was going to give 4 stars due to the fact that the rides do not support any plus-size folk (I could barely fit into some of the rides, which has actually never EVER been a problem for me), but I also have to admit that the staff was horribly unkind. This may just be because I am from Missouri where we’d give an arm and a leg to a stranger just to help them out, but there was a point where an older woman employee was YELLING at me because I wasn’t getting on a ride quick enough (I was not motioned/told to hop on the ride yet, each theme park I have been to there is an indication from a staff member when it is safe to climb onto a ride). That specific experience was on the Ghost Blaster ride. Shout out specifically to this guy working the log flume ride, though. He was so so kind. And shoutout to I think the one or two workers who helped pull a kid’s stuck knee out of the Orange Streak ride’s queue railing while we were waiting to get on. But other than that, there was so much fighting between visitors and employees, which seemed to be caused by the employees themselves most of the time. Overall most of them were very hateful, which really put a damper of the vibe of the day. I grew up on Nickelodeon and enjoyed being in Nickelodeon Universe, but the employees unfortunately determined the experience for most...
