Very good food and delicious drinks for a fairly expensive price. My guess is restaurants have to charge more for food at the Mall of America because their leases are so expensive. Nevertheless, my wife absolutely loved her "Maker's Mark Glazed Salmon" with sautéed spinach and steamed white rice for $21.99! She also ordered a, Rum Forrest Rum (Don Q. Pasion Rum, Meyers Original Dark Rum, Dole Pineapple Juice, Fresh Lime Juice, Fresh Orange Juice, and Finest Call Grenadine drink for $12 and raved about that too! My brother, Pat, absolutely loved his "1/2 LB All-American Cheese Burger" with fries for $13.99! He said it was one of the juiciest hamburgers he's ever eaten! Who would have ever imagined eating one of the best burgers of your life at a seafood restaurant? I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, which is called, "Of Course We Have Scampi," on a bed of linguini with lobster butter sauce, and a slice of garlic bread for $19.99. It was good, but nothing special. My daughter, loved her Macaroni and Cheese bowl with fries, and blue jellow served in a Bubba Gump/Jenny cardboard boat and apple juice for $6.99! The cardboard boat was super cute! For dessert we shared the "Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae topped with vanilla ice cream, carmel and chocolate sauces, peanuts, and whipped cream for $10.49. My daughter loved the ice cream and the sauces, but the chocolate chip cookie was stale and extremely dry. Overall, it was a good meal with exceptionally delicious entrees: The Maker's Mark Glazed Salmon and the 1/2 LB All-American Cheese Burger.

When I found Bubba Gump on google maps and rushed there to try, it's because of their shrimp menu. I never knew or thought about their story and involved one of my favorite movies, Forest Gump!! ( I should've known, 🤭) We were seated right away and greeted by a friendly waiter. The menu itself is seafood lower's dream. I was excited to read the menu lol. I ordered my favorite, which is seafood boil. We also ordered fish and chips, fish and shrimp baskets. I got the original margarita, and my husband had a beer. We paid a bit extra to keep our beer and margarita cups. My son also bought his icy cup. Which was a good souvenir from the restaurant. My Cajun seafood boil came with one snow crab, about 1/5 lbs shrimp, sausage, 1 corn on the cob, and a few pcs of red potatoes. Since I don't eat sausage, they added extra shrimp instead. It was delicious 😋 I mean, it was $37, but I think it is worth it. My family also loved what they ordered. One important thing we didn't know and loved about their table concept. They have 2 license plate signs on every table. One says " Run Forest Run " and the other says " Stop Forest Stop" they were not just for decoration, when it is on Run Forest Run that means you don't need any requests from the server. If you turn the sing to Stop Forest Stop , that means you need the waitress/waiter. How amazing and fun. We feel that the themed nature of the restaurant made our experience better.

I had a decent experience, it was mid afternoon and when we were seated they said there is a rush of people who were just seated. There must of only been 4 other families, so the waitress wasn't on top of her game and she seemed slightly annoyed when I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. There were a lot of fried food options on their menu and I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $60 on a seafood boil. I ended up ordering the coconut shrimp lunch special which was $15. My daughter's ordered off the kid menu bc my 13 yo wanted chicken tenders but wasn't listed on the adult menu. So the waitress decided to make a joke saying "we will just pretend your 10" so I asked her "well I didn't see any on the adult menu' the waitress then said "it's just not on the menu" I did not like her vibe, she was rude whenever she could be. My other daughter got ribs and they were delicious, she definitely cleaned them to the bones. So decent food, I liked my coconut shrimp. I also ordered a clam chowder soup which I didn't care for. I also ordered a blueberry lemonade cocktail, a peach preosecco and my daughters got the lemonades. The drinks were good. We also got the cookie sundae and the girls enjoyed it.. Our bill was $100+ so a very spendy place and nothing to rave about.

Despite being a mall location, I did enjoy the themed restaurant decor. Since we dined on the outside of the restaurant, it was a mall atmosphere. You know what you're getting there. There is no need to get into that. We ordered the Run Across America Sampler platter to share, and I ordered Jambalaya. The platter looked impressive but was extremely underwhelming. We both agreed that the chicken tenders were the best item on a platter that includes a Spinach/Artichoke dip, Hush Puppies, and fried shrimp. That's a huge missed opportunity here. The Jambalaya was average in terms of taste. Definitely packed a little heat. But I am glad it wasn't soupy like others. The attached pictures are of the Jambalaya, Gumbo, and "I'm Stuffed!" Shrimp. The server was the best part of our dining experience. He had an enjoyable personality and offered recommendations and provided updates and refills quickly. A small attached gift shop was present as well. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to walk through it, though. Don't feel the need to return to a BGS whether it's here or elsewhere. It's definitely a themed tourist trap.

I went with my wife and daughter during lunch time, and we were pleasantly surprised at the concept, the décor, and the atmosphere. Our server (forgot her name) was very helpful, and was hustling with our table and others. We started off with the calamari, and it was very good--even my daughter was eating and trying to hog all the calamari (and she doesn't usually enjoy calamari)! We then ordered our mains: I got the Seafood Feast, my wife the Trio, and then some popcorn shrimp and jello for our daughter off the kid's menu. Our daughter really enjoyed the fact that her meal was served in paper/cardboard boat, and we thought that was very creative and done very well. Our meals were very good, but I couldn't help but think the portion versus price was very skewed. I was still hungry after, and my wife as well. Overall, a great atmosphere and experience for families, and if you're looking for a fun time. However, I think they should either give more in terms of portion, or decrease prices a little bit.
