Subject: Complaint Regarding Noise Disturbance During Stay

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a serious issue I experienced during my recent stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Mall of America on [Dates of Stay].

From approximately 9:00 PM until 3:00 AM, there was excessive noise coming from the room above mine, where children were repeatedly jumping off beds and stomping on the floor. This noise was extremely disruptive and made it nearly impossible for me to get any rest. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the front desk, no action was taken to resolve the disturbance.

As a guest, I expect a reasonable level of comfort and consideration from both the hotel staff and fellow guests. It was frustrating and unacceptable that my complaints were not addressed, leading to a restless and unpleasant stay. Given Hilton’s reputation for quality service, I expected a higher standard of responsiveness to such concerns.

I kindly request a response regarding how this situation will be addressed to ensure future guests do not experience similar issues.. Please let me know how you intend to resolve this matter.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is attached to a sister property so it’s a busy place, but other than a short wait at the front desk occasionally, all is good.||We had a good checkin process with Steven. The room was larger than we expected and clean. Noise was an issue, but from an unusual source. ||We didn’t ever hear an airplane, which is really surprising given the location. We did, however, hear a lot of music and a door opening and closing next door until after 2:00 am. When I asked about it the next morning, I was told that the room was occupied by long-stay workers from the Mall of America. The front desk lady did say that they had been really good so far, and was willing to call them. I declined and said I’d call down if there was a problem the second night, which there wasn’t. Something to ask about when checking in when you consider room location. ||Breakfast was standard for similar properties. If you’re looking for a quieter place to sit, go on the other side of the front desk and you’ll find some additional seating. ||One other issue came up. We asked if they had a child car seat that could be placed in the shuttle. I was told yes by one staff member but told no by another, due to liability issues. The latter said that since the shuttle was considered public transportation, parents could just hold their children. ||We would definitely stay...

We have stayed in this hotel a few times now. It's clean & close to many Attractions (we came for a concert at the Armory & MOA). Our first stay we loved the use of the shuttle to go back and forth from MOA. It was actually the exact reason we returned this year too! However the shuttle was LATE- OVER 30 minutes late and we had to drive ourselves because the front staff said he was there but couldn't reach him (we were signed up for 530 shuttle and drove ourselves at 6 because he wasn't responding to staff. Very stressful when you have a reservation you were going to be early for.

Pros: The cleanliness is a huge plus. The breakfasts are amazing. Beds are comfortable. Very easy to navigate and get around. Friendly staff Close to many attractions

Cons: Breakfast hours early 6-9 am which is sometimes hard to make it- they promptly close everything for breakfast exactly at 9 am! The pool is small and nothing exciting. The shuttle service is unreliable. Depending on what room you get the airplanes are LOUD and hard to sleep through (only happened in one room we had but none of us slept through them in the rooms facing the airport).

Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are comfortable driving yourself and don't need or have to rely on the shuttle and are ok with early rise for breakfast.

Our next trip I'll likely try another hotel before returning but not opposed...
