i would really love to rate this place 5 stars, but i can't. the store itself is pretty neat, can't beat $5 for most things here, but i had a disappointing experience;
i purchased quite a few items, one of which was a special edition dvd of zoolander. when i left, the cashier forgot to put it in my bag. i was staying at the Radisson girl in the mall, so when i got to my room, i called. and called. and called. I'm not sure the phone number there works, or they just don't answer the phone. i gave them the benefit of the doubt, since they closed at 9:30 and i called at 9:24.
i stopped in as soon as they opened the next morning and i even spoke to the same cashier, but they could not find my dvd anywhere. i was pretty bummed.
they said they would keep looking, i said i would call them back before i had to leave at noon.
so i called.... and called.... and called... no answer.
so, they got an extra $5 out of me, maybe they can fix their phone with that money.

Made an online order for pick-up and 3 days later I still haven’t received the email confirmation for pick-up and they had the audacity to charge me TWICE for it as well. I went in the day after I made the online order because I knew it’ll take time for them to fulfill it especially during the holidays and they told me to go back in the following day, in which I said “no” because I knew they were not going to do it. So instead, I bought the items I needed in-store and now I’m sitting here 3 days later after my initial online order….and I still have yet to receive any email confirmation lol (not that I want them anymore since I went to the store). Had to get the two charges disputed through my bank.

I purchased several items ( snack, eye pencils and a book) and when the cashier handed me my receipt, I noticed I was charged an extra dollar for all four eye pencils. The price tag on the display was inaccurate - it was a dollar more when I reviewed my receipt. On top of that, when I checked my bag after leaving the store, one of the eye pencil I paid for was missing. I was charged for four items, but only three were placed in my bag.
I’m not sure if this was an honest mistake or simple carelessness, but it was frustrating. My main reasons for the one-star review are the inaccurate price display and the cashier not paying attention while ringing up my items.
