I love North Face products, but the staff at this location are terrible.
I went in to exchange a jacket for the correct size that was received as a gift. They tried to immediately tell me they didn’t have it in stock. I ended up finding the correct size in plain sight within seconds. They noticed I found it and tried to immediately process the exchange, practically begging for the jacket out of my hands. I had to firmly tell them that I wanted to try it on first and ensure it fits. They rushed me and impatiently stared the entire time I was trying it on in the mirror.
Once the exchange transaction was complete, they told me the jacket was returned early that day. Nervously, I went home and took a closer look at the jacket. It has a strong smell of body odor (especially in the armpit area) and a tare in the inner lining. This jacket was clearly heavily used and returned. It should have been inspected closer and never placed back on the floor. I will have to make another inconvenient trip to exchange the jacket again.
Had I not been bombarded by all three boys at the register and given time to actually look at the jacket without them eyeing me like a hawk, this could have been avoided. I miss when The North Face brand was focused on high-quality outdoors gear, and less about trendy cool aesthetics. For a $300+ jacket, I should’ve been given the patience to ensure I was making a quality purchase. Instead, this damaged jacket was carelessly thrown back on the sales floor and hastily resold to me...
Read moreGot treated very poorly on my visit here. Other people were being ushered into the store because of Covid restrictions, but when people left and it was my turn to enter they looked at me like deer in headlights. Also everyone else in the store was asked if they needed assistance but me...Then when I asked somone for assistance with finding a size he scanned said they were out of stock but left before letting me know if it was available online. I found the manager to ask for help on seeing if the jacket was available and told him about my bad expriences and he quickly dismissed them by saying "I don't think that is a thing, I can see you are wearing a nice Gordon Lyons sweater" as if that had anything to do with me as a customer...at least he helped me find a suitable jacket I liked (that was $100 more). At the check out counter I got the kid who didn't have time to help me. I tried using my winter season rewards or talk to him abour getting it applied and he was barely listening, the online return I brought with me I had used the rewards on so I was asking him how I could apply it to this new more expensive jacket. He basically lied to me by saying that I was refunded the $20 rewards on my return for it. I later found out from customer service that was completely inaccurate. They had so many chances in the store that day to have one positive interaction with me and failed each time. This is a shame because I love North Face clothing. This store needs to work on treating...
Read moreWow!!! I was hesitant... I went back forth with writing a review. After reading over these reviews, I just have to share some of my experience. My first experience was last October (My birthday gift) started out not so good. I walked in, I was walked passed by one employee, not so much as a hello, welcome in, we'll be right with you... NOTHING. I went to the counter, the told the lady what I wanted she told me... Mike (I think that was his name) is the best, he'll be with you when he's done with his customer. He ended up helping me and it went well. I went back two weeks ago... AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! North FACE you should be a ASHAMED!!! I'm getting MAD just writing this and having to think about/re-live this all over again! To the young man who was at the door when we walked in, looked us (my daughter and I who by the way is a 7th and 8th grade PRIVATE school teacher) in the FACE and walked AWAY... You should be retrained...North FACE I'm going to blame you for this... because, this was the experience I had with pretty much all of your employees that day. I feel like if your company trained your employees to meet and greet properly and to have better customer services AND did not tolerate this kind of behavior this would NOT be happing with with your employees... SO much more happened that day, but because I am going to take this to your GM and hope to get some kind of resolution I'll stop here... at...
