High Line Railroad Park is a great place for kids ages 2-5. Amazing views for parents and great fun time of kids. The park has a giant pretend railway ticket booth, a play area with train shapes, and a couple of other structures with slides. There are also plenty of picnic tables for parents to relax while the kids play.

The playground is surrounded by trees and a few meters away from the road, making it a safe place for kids to run around. The sand ground cover is soft on little feet.

My two-year-old loved pretending to be a conductor at the ticket booth, and she had a blast climbing through the train cars. The other structures were a bit too challenging for her, but she still had fun...

Our four year old grandson was very impressed. He loves large machinery. He pushed on the caboose car to see if he could move it. From an adult perspective, it's really great to have this history preserved. The associated museum is only open seasonally, however. Minus one star.

As a bonus, it's a short walk from this exhibit to the famous Troll sculpture. The four year old mind has hopefully been left with an image of that which will be remembered in his...

What a great park! Especially for my almost three year boy who LOVES trains. There are quite a few trains to see and a great playground next to it. I will warn you that there are signs asking you to please not climb the trains....but literally everyone was ignoring those signs (yes, even parents). So not sure if that’s actually ever enforced or followed.
