Worst service I have ever experienced, food was inconsistent and reserved seating was ridiculous. To be clear I would have taken this review to the manager but when I asked the restaurant hostess she informed me the manager would not be on duty for another 1.5 hours. I made a reservation (which required a credit card in the event you do not show with a $25 per person charge). When I arrived the hostess told me my party of 6 could sit in 2 separate booths inside or on the patio together outside. We chose outside. They sat us at a table with umbrellas that could not be raised/opened. So no one could see each other. We asked if the umbrellas could be removed and the waiter said no because there was no where else to put them. The waiter arrived promptly and took our drink orders, the drinks arrived fairly quickly, and the waiter took our food order. We moved to the table next to us when the guests there cleared out as that table had no umbrellas, which allowed us to actually converse with each other, no one seemed to notice and we wanted to ask but we did not see our waiter again for almost 45 minutes. A runner delivered our food with about a 15 minute delay between the first persons dish being delivered and the last dish being delivered. We went for breakfast. The last dish brought to the table (gluten free waffles) arrived cold. Not lukewarm just hard and cold. The granola and fruit was not anywhere as good as cabin juice. The two guests who ordered the burger said it was great. The Boris Omelet was hot and delicious. The regular waffles were tasty. When we saw the waiter after our 45 minute wait and everyone was done eating, we asked for coffee/cocktails and he said “Sorry we are really understaffed today, and I will take the waffles off the bill.” Everyone was completely done eating so he knew a new order of waffles was not necessary. He brought the drinks (first refill we requested due to lack of service) after another 20 minutes, at which point we asked for our bill. He reminded us again that they were understaffed and walked away. At that point one of the ladies at our table removed our empty plates that were still in front of us and put them on the stacked patio chairs behind our table. After another long wait I called the restaurant and asked if there was a manager on duty, but was informed there was not. When our delayed bill was finally received the waiter reminded us again they were understaffed. We then waited a while before one of the guests in our party took the bills in to pay at the bar. The patio was empty and the restaurant was 3/4 full. The waiter came to grab our bills approximately 2 minutes before we got our bills back from the bartender. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. If you are understaffed then prioritize the amount of tables you can seat! I will not be going back to...

One of the weirdest dining experiences of my life!

I pre-booked through OpenTable for July 29, 2022 at 6:30pm for one as I expected this place with their great reviews and the sheer volume of people in Breckenridge over the weekend to be very difficult to get into.

I walked in on time and the place was half-full which was very surprising. I chose to not sit at the bar due to how many tables were empty and that I would be in and out within the hour so as to not tie up a table for too long for just one person.

I was seated at a table for two and I was given water within 30 seconds. 21 minutes goes by before anyone asks me if I would like to order a drink, which I did, which was after I had to go and find a menu.  47 minutes then elapsed after initially being seated and finally my drink appeared. During this exciting time of playing chess on my phone, staring at the ceiling and getting older I also finally got to put a food order in. Progress.

I started with the Lamb meatballs and then the lamb chops which were both so tasty, and cooked to perfection. I was beyond impressed with both and my compliments to the chef. Dessert sounded good and a couple more wines but I was a bit over the whole experience. Yes, they were understaffed with servers and my server Ingrid was running around like a champion trying her absolute best to keep all of her tables satisfied, and was so apologetic when I asked for the check before my entree even appeared.

It was just incredibly frustrating to be completely ignored by so many other staff (with the exception of one young lad who asked me "how's your day") who all had very little to do and basically lumped all responsibility on my server.

Awesome chef and server. Poor management,...

We've eaten here many times since it opened - for breakfast and lunch and the service has often been spotty, but the food has always been good. I almost never post bad reviews. But today was probably the worst restaurant experience we've had in a decade - in every way.

The woman who seated us was clearly annoyed at being there. She took us to a table that still had all the dishes from the prior customer. We stood there while she slowly cleaned it off and then she put down menus and walked away. I asked "do you have a wine list?" She continued to walk away and said "yes". But never brought one.

10 minutes later it was so disheartening to see that she was our server. I could write a few pages about how rude she was. Two tables near us literally walked out. I wish we had done the same.

The food took 45 minutes and had clearly been sitting under the warmer for heaven-knows-how-long. Silverware is supposed to be on the table but we had to ask for it. Predictably, she never came back. We finally got up and flagged down someone in another part of the restaurant and he brought some. The Steak sandwich was grey in color by the time we got it. The salmon was so overcooked and dry it was inedible. So bad I didn't even take it home for the dog!

This was not just a staffing issue. They weren't very busy. Maybe half full by the time we left. And this was not well meaning staff that were overwhelmed or under-trained or just forgetful. This was a complete lack of caring or effort to the point that it seemed like they were trying to create a...

Food: overall, tends to be salty and somewhat dry. Apps and burger were the best. Meze plate ($22): good! Dips a bit dry, especially the hummus and feta. Olives were great. Falafel was so-so, but hot and fresh. Pita could have been a bit fresher. Burrata ($19, I think?): honestly the best out of everything we ordered. Went well with the olive oil toast. Burger ($26): good! Cooked to spec and flavorful and huge. Moroccan chicken ($38): salty, and not grilled enough. Couscous was aight. Zucchini also kind of salty and bland. Steak ($65): big portion, but very salty. Cooked to spec! Moussaka ($38): Salty, too. However, I don't have a good frame of reference for how it should be. Service: kind of subpar. Forgot about drinks order until when entrees were served. Price: Very, very overpriced for the quality. Entrees $40-60 when they felt like $20-30 dollar plates. The Moroccan chicken and steak were objectively a poor value. The burger and meze plate was somehow the best bang for buck. I get inflation and everything, but the profit margin on the chicken and steak has got to be pretty big. Vibes: Decent. We were originally seated at a table with no overhead lighting which would have not been the best atmosphere, so we asked to be reseated. Overall - I don't think it deserves a recommendation now (we went here because it was recommended multiple times on Reddit) but none of the things we noticed are unfixable. Hope the proprietor addresses some - looking forward to seeing if it's better in the future!
