Blue Moose Restaurant — Restaurant in Breckenridge

Really this is a 4.3 food rating. (Why doesn't Google allow for 10th's?) It was good, not great, but definitely worth a stop. The fact they have their own off street parking is a huge plus. The town was overrun on a Friday midday, and there was no place to park. I had the Pastrami Rubin, asked for light on the kraut and dressing and it came just as ordered. The meat was super tender, although lacking the salt and pepper I am used to on good pastrami. Bread was nice and thick. Potato chips had to be ordered on the side, but it did come with a pickle which my wife liked, I didn't much.

She had the Turkey Rachel with Swiss and Russian dressing, which was not overpowering. She said the turkey was a bit dry, but enjoyed it all the same.

Our server was lovely, very polite and attentive and she had a nice positive energy about her. The dining room is small, but a bright and a pleasant place to spend an hour. They need to straighten the art work, LOL!

Value was good at $54 for the sammies, chips, sodas, tax and tip. If we lived in Breck, I suspect this would become a regular...

1st time eating here. 25 yrs in the Army... literally eaten stuff a dog or goat won't eat! Food, beyond bland, Denver Omelet's, not complicated food to make. Potatoes- so hard I didn't realize hard rock mining with teeth was a thing. Don't use frozen potatoes.. buy and cut them. Breakfast is the cheapest and most profitable meal to make... Do it right. Just cheesy using poor quality choices for products. Bread- sour dough- Times are tough I guess- not saying dumpster diving at other places for the bread but wowsers... Definitely dated and hard. Hard enough that I used a piece to tap a nail back into the wall. Not sure how this place got a good reputation unless former druggie/alcoholics with no taste buds eat there alot and leave positive reviews.. Price- $43 for 2 Denver Omelet's. No coffee, no juice, nothing extra... menu clearly states $15x 2= $30... Hard to fathom $13 in tax? Questioned the lady ringing up bill. Confirmed $43 for 2 Denver Omelet's. Note: This was after mentioning the poor quality of our breakfast. Guess uncharging is a thing when mentioning...

Failure of a restaurant, management failed to show any compassion or care for the fact they sat my table of 3 and didnt service us for 45minutes and then took another 50 minutes to still not have the food ready. Walked out the door and had 2 other tables leave with us, 1hr and 30 minutes and still no food and poor service on drinks or even being acknowledged is a joke. The manager is a joke lost a sale from three tables because of the negligence.

APPARENTLY THE RESPONSE IS EXPECTED FROM A MANAGER THAT IS CLUELESS.

The review was written yesterday after hours, so yeah when you write a review it shows the time written. To come at a customer an say they are talking about another establishment when they are only writing to the current one to help them realize a change might be wise is rediculas. I visited your place in on September 8th 2018. Sat at your location from 945am till 1130 and ended up leaving due to poor service. This carelessness on your part as a manger to just brush off the review is unreal. Hopefully you can take the information and maybe adjust...
