Planet Fitness — Attraction in Chillicothe

MOST DISGUSTING GYM IVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. I live in California ans travel all over the United States and California. I work out and shower at the gym daily. I've been to gyms in every ghetto you can imagine from Oakland to Detroit and this gym is EASILY, by far, hands down, THE MOST DIGSUSTING GYM IVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE! Before you even get to the front door you can already smell sweat. You're probably thinking that's normal but it's not. You're not smelling sweaty people, you're smelling a dirty gym that doesn't get cleaned. When you open the door, it's like a brick of sweat hits you in the face. If you go back to the corner there's a room with a huge workout sation in it, IT SMELLS LIKE RAW SEWAGE!!!!! there is obviously a broken sweage line in the walls somewhere. The gym is small and the machines are very limited. They don't even have foam rollers, which are crucial to use before and after your workouts for stretching. Especially for old people or people with back problems.

So why did I sign up? Honestly, the gym didn't smell bad the day I went in but I went there daily for 2 months after that and it only got worse and worse. New staff or management maybe? I don't know but the stench got worse and stronger over 2 months. I also, got the membership because there was only one other gym in Chillicothe and that was anytime fitness, there gyms are small and not as many in Cali as the planet fitness. I have a 24 hour fitness in Cali but was forced to get planet fitness as there are no 24 he fitness here. Anyway, that's why I got my membership there. I had planned on cancelling my membership at 24 hour fitness and staying with planet fitness because it's cheaper and they offer more things with the upgraded membership but this gym in Chillicothe made me want to cancel my membership right away.

Fortunately, for planet fitness, I didn't cancel it right away like I had planned and ended up stopping at one in Columbus and one in Toledo. These two gyms were HUGE and incredibly clean and new. They are what stopped me from cancelling my membership, in hopes the ones near me in Cali are this nice. If not, I'm cancelling.

Get your act together Chillicothe! Your standards of living are that of a third world country. Embarrassed to call...

Do not go here if you are serious about making healthy changes mentally and physically you will not find it here at this location. The schedule first off is an absolute joke. You pay for 24 hour access but it's only valid 3 days a week or whenever the staff decide they don't want to be open. Speaking of staff. If you enjoy second hand smoke or vaping this is the place for you. Not only do the staff smoke in view of everyone but they could care less about any problems or inconveniences you have. So many times have I shown up after taking my supplements only to find out they are closed for no reason at all. I have been a dedicated member for over 2 years and in that time frame I have see the standards and customer respect decline rapidly. I would encourage anyone to find something more local or at least anytime fitness down the road which is the same price and private. Also 24/7 access. Extremely disappointed. I hardly every write reviews but I really hope this helps someone who's genuinely trying to make a healthy...

If I could I would give this place zero star , me and my fiancé are parents too a 3 month old baby boy and we wanted to start getting fit and working out so when we walked in one of the employees asked if the baby would be with us and I said yes but we are only doing the treadmill and she said okay it’s fine for this time and we drove 40 minutes from home just to come work out on our 1 day off that we have and then 20 minutes later another employee comes up to us and tells us we need to leave with the baby and is calling my baby a she when my child is clearly a male and he obviously can see that he’s wearing male clothes and has male baby toys on his car seat since he has enough time to look over and acknowledge him sleeping peacefully in it not bothering anyone , this place is a joke and I want my money back...
