My 1st time at the Sunrise Farmers Market. I saw it in action last month but, I guess I was never in this area during these particular hours for years. Because I noticed it last month, I made it a point to attend and I put it in my to-do list. I have also been eating plant-based beginning the month of April. When I first walked down the first row of vendors, it was giving festival or fair vibes because I saw tie-dye clothing, pizza, pressed fresh fruit juices, Mediterranean food, homemade seasoning, earrings and jewelry, baby clothes, knit or crochet terry cloth sports team products, potted trees bar soaps, local honey, jarred preserves, hats, and socks. So, the first row made me wonder if there were any fresh fruits and vegetables available. By the time I got to the end of the first row I saw some produce and took a sigh of relief. Oranges, Strawberries, Onions, Broccoli, Tomatoes etc. After all that's why I was there. So in total there were 3 rows of vendors and then a row on the end of the aisles. I am happy that I got Asian seats, a Arkansas Black apple, a purple cabbage and a nice bunch of beautiful Swiss Chard... zit happened to be sooo cold this Saturday morning. I arrived around 10:30am. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The sun was out but, the air was freezing. Parking is Plentiful. Huge Free Parking Lot. Kid Friendly Place, Pets were and are welcome. The fruits and vegetables also reasonable. I only saw a stand/tent where things seemed like triple the asking price. I was happy my findings. It was a nice...

A lot of the stands take atm/credit so you don't have to worry if you don't have cash. They also had a band playing live music, and they're dog friendly. They had stands for produce and nuts, flowers, kettle corn, fresh eggs and meats, handmade bath and body products, fresh bread, fresh mini donuts, dried fruits and veggies, flavored pistachios, homemade tamales/chips/salsa, and cupcakes/ cookies. I would suggest this farmer's market to everyone who wants a friendly atmosphere with good...
Read moreI love this place year round. The music today was wonderful- Eric Clapton acoustic- very nice. There are so many vendors now that the season is really going although there were plenty of vendors there even in the slow season. A special shout out to saucers tea company- her scones on Saturdays are not to be missed. And to Jaylah at indigo boutique- I'm sorry I missed you today. She's always good for some knowledge and peace for your soul. And the Frenchy booth- of you haven't tried the lemon yogurt you're missing a real treat. And the cherries...
