I stayed here with my two sons for 4 nights back in March. Upon arrival we got checked in to our room. We go upstairs to put our bags in the room before going to dinner and the first thing we notice is that the curtains are torn and the screen is missing. As weāre leaving to go to dinner I notify the front desk and they offer to change our room. When we returned, we were given a different room. As we prepared to go to bed, I turned on the heat because CO in March is still chilly. Itās blowing cold air right away but I figured it needed a minute to heat up.
We wake up the next morning and itās still blowing cold air, like ice cold, and this was after I bumped it up to 80 something. We were freezing. Also, with the daylight I can see how dirty the room is. There were stains on the floor and what appeared to be blood splatter on the walls and more stains on the carpet. Nor did it look like it had been vacuumed. When we leave to go out for the day I let the front desk attendant know about the heat and she said sheād have maintenance check it out. When we get back that evening we go back to the room and I notice itās still not warm. I go back to the desk and inquire about it and the same attendant was still there and told me maintenance didnāt have the part to fix it but doesnāt offer to move us. My oldest son and his girlfriend arrive to have dinner and play some games. While waiting for dinner to arrive, my youngest son happened to have been looking under the bedsā¦they were on actual frames and not the normal platform typeā¦and found a bunch of trash and food. Furthermore we noticed that the door to the hall had a good 1 1/2-2in gap at the bottom which would allow anyone outside to slide a phone or something underneath and potentially record or watch you. We complained yet again and were put in a third room. Mind you we had only been there 48 hours at this point.
They moved us again and this time to a different floor. Sadly it smelled so badly of cigarette smoke is was suffocating. I complained to the desk attendant about that and he said heād look into it. We had to put towels down on the floor by the door because it was stinging up our room. This room was also filthy with stains, more blood splatter looking stains on the walls and some on the cabinetry in the bathroom, torn curtains and the screen was also torn and falling out.
Our room was never serviced while we were there. Trash was overflowing. There is a sign in the elevator clearly stating itās a smoke free hotel but it wreaked of cigarette smoke. There were even stains or spills on the window seat in the hall by the elevator. The breakfast was a joke and parking was limited out front and dark around the side of the building overlooking the cinema. Overall probably the worst hotel Iāve ever stayed in and Iāve stayed in a few dumps before. Highly discourage anyone from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will simply never come here again and you shouldn't either. We got in Monday of this week and stayed still Friday. My mom checked out the rooms before we got there because we came to stay there in Colorado to get married closer to our family. She requested another room because ours was honestly just gross. My mom spent 30 minutes searching the empty rooms for one that was clean and set up nice enough for us to come back to after getting married. She requested they move us rooms and put us next to her and my aunt whom she paid for all the rooms for. They gave us the original dirty room that she requested we be moved from and they didn't bother to clean it anymore either. The room was so dirty that the floors looked stained with years of dirty and grime, as well as the couches. We had to go to target and get sheets and blankets for ourselves because the ones they had were stained, and had animal hair on them. The curtains were torn at the bottom (in every room!) And the ac at one point completely stopped working. When I requested that I needed help they said there was not much they could do and to try unplugging it.. I was luckily smart enough to find a reset switch yet the front desk didn't even bother to tell me was there (probably for lack of knowledge or pure laziness) I had ONE person at the front desk ACTUALLY help and she got most of the issues figured out. Sadly she couldn't get it all situation but I was glad she helped. Her name started with a D and she had colored red hair. She was a delight and was the only reason any of us even stayed after that. They also do not clean the rooms now and leave supplies outside of your door if you need anything else, which means if your neighbors need something and don't want to call down, they will just take your items and you have to go back and ask for more. They don't provide trash cans large enough for anything but 2 or 3 cups worth of trash and the whole room wa just simply TRASH. I will never return and hope no one else will waste their money either. Go across the street for $100 less and actually enjoy your stay somewhere.
All issues: Dirty beds Dirty sheets Son broke out in rash from the room Dirty bath tub and walls in bathroom No stopper in bath tub Stained couch Stained floors Broken bathroom door so it wouldn't lock No coffee machine Tore up/Stained curtains Ac broke Having to get new keys EVERY day because the lock was broken and sometimes it didn't didn't lock!! Paint chipping off Shower faucet loose and falling off Horrible customer service, most staff couldn't get anything right or help at all No clean towels and stuff dropped off unless requested every time and neighbors steal your stuff because it's left on the ground outside Broken pool lights so you can't go out after dark if you have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI only stayed here because I had to. If you find dumpy comfortable, then this is the place for you.Ā Seriously.Ā If you have the option, stay somewhere else.Ā I (and my co-workers) only stayed here because it is where our employer booked us.Ā Otherwise, I would have left.
Upon arrival, two of my co-workers immediately had to change their rooms.Ā One of the rooms had not been cleaned at all (sheets not changed, trash scattered about the room, bathroom not cleaned).Ā The other room was apparently experiencing plumbing issues.
My room was just...dumpy.Ā Despite the unappealing color and patterning of the actual carpet, the various white and brown stains on it were apparent.Ā I had to pull one of the bed side stands a little further from the wall to plug my phone charger in, and quickly wish I hadn't.Ā The back of the table, wall and floor had a nice thick pelt of dust and stuff that clearly had not been cleaned in months...maybe longer.Ā The behind furniture spaces were like that throughout the room.Ā There were small, but easily found stains on the sheets (all layers of them).Ā The mattress was well worn to the point that you could easily see where people had formed permanent divots (which did their best to swallow me every night).Ā Uncomfortable is as kind as I can describe the sleeping experience. The bathroom was the best looking part of the room, but who really knows?Ā A few of the towels had permanent stains, and I just gave up and sat those aside.
I believe there were as many dogs in residence as humans during my week long stay.Ā A room across from me had three of them.Ā Finding a beer can or bottle...or two, by the elevator window in the mornings was a common occurrence.Ā Any given time of day, the elevator randomly smelled of cigarette smoke, but it was in the evenings after dark when it was so thick with the smell of weed that someone may as well have been burning a blunt beside you. Breakfast was sparse, considering the price of the rooms and numerous other hotels chains in the same range that I've stayed out.Ā Hot or cold beverages, three types of cold cereal, mini waffles, if you wanted, bread products and hard boiled eggs.Ā At least the coffee was consistently good.
The main reason this isn't a one star is because the General Manager and all of the front desk staff were always very kind and pleasant people who actually seemed to care.Ā It's like they were assigned to this run down hotel (that really needs a remodel; just do over) and there was nothing they could do about it, so may as well try to make...
