Do not live here. If you are moving to Dallas, please know there are many areas (and apartment complexes) where you can live, but this should not be one. Save yourself the irritation of having to deal with condescending, unresponsive, and unprofessional people by finding a place that doesnāt take advantage of you.
As a Harvest Loft resident for over 2.5 years, I had little to no complaints about this complex until I sent the required move-out notice. From that moment, I have dealt with nothing but rude and unaccommodating staff, miscellaneous move-out roadblocks and uncommunicated fees. Below are just a few of the hardships that were encountered:
Understanding service elevators need to be booked in advance, I confirmed via email with the staff at the leasing office the date I would be moving out. When there was no acknowledgment of this communication, I called to confirm the email was received. At that time, the leasing office informed me that I could not move out on that date/time because of road closures associated with an event happening at the Farmers Market (the event was happening on Saturday, but the roads were closed all day Friday). This communication was never distributed to the residents at the Harvest Lofts so while I thought this hold was confirmed, this delayed communication cost me change fees with my movers as well as an inconvenience at my place of work, as I had taken off weeks in advance.
After paying the pro-rated rent (since my 60-day notice was delayed, something that I take responsibility for), I was hit not only with pro-rated fees for my initial contract (which were expected), but also with month-to-month pro-rated charges for both rent, trash and water. When I called to ask the leasing office about these charges (specifically, why I was being charged for something that had never been communicated to me), they didnāt return my call, applying multiple late fees to my balance. When I saw this on my account, I called back to gain a better understanding as to what these charges were and was greeted with one of the most rude interactions I have ever experienced from the Business Office Manager. Rather than being helpful and professional, this staff member was condescending and extremely unhelpful. Iāve never been spoken to so rudely by any business in...
Read moreThis is a beautiful apartment complex with an exemplary staff whom are all kind and treat us like family. The staff members go out of their way for me. I'm only 4'11" and I'm 97 pounds, and I was crushed by a utility cart, which busted up my upper body. Sam and Axom carry my heavy parcels to my apartment as I can no longer lift while I'm in physical therapy. The apartments are very clean and the hallways smell good. The maintenance staff is great and so is the cleaning staff. There are no bugs here. Exterminators come in and make sure that every apartment stays bug, free. There are yearly fire inspections, which make me feel a lot safer. The apartments are very well insulated, as well as having very thick walls between the apartments. I cannot even hear my neighbors next door. I can't even hear their dog bark because the walls are very thick. I couldn't ever have imagined that in apartment complex could be so quiet between each apartment sharing common walls. The security here is excellent and is available 24/7. I have a fear of fires, most of all. These apartments have fire suppression sprinklers with the red tubes in them. The red tubes sense temperatures at about 165°. I was studying fire safety equipment and I found out that only yellow tubes are more sensitive and are only available for commercial use in businesses that use very flammable materials. Someone had a cooking fire a few years ago. The fire suppression, sprinkler, put the fire out before the Fire Department even got here. The fire department got here quick. I feel so safe with so many fire stations and police stations and hospitals being within close distance. I never met a mean neighbor in this big building. Everyone has been so kind. This is the place I will most likely call home for the rest of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of living at Harvest Lofts, an exceptional apartment complex located in the vibrant farmers market area of downtown Dallas. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the modern aesthetic and inviting atmosphere of the community. The apartments are spacious, beautifully designed, and come equipped with high-end finishes that truly make it feel like home.
What sets Harvest Lofts apart, however, is the outstanding service provided by the leasing agents, Axam and Sam. Their dedication to ensuring that residents have everything they need is truly commendable. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand my needs and preferences, going above and beyond to make sure my transition to the community was smooth and enjoyable.
Axam and Sam are not just leasing agents; they are true partners in making life at Harvest Lofts worthwhile. They are always available to address any concerns, provide recommendations for local amenities, and facilitate community events that foster a sense of belonging among residents. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism create a welcoming environment that immediately makes you feel at home.
The location itself is a dream for anyone who enjoys the hustle and bustle of city life, with easy access to the farmers market, shops, and dining options. The amenities offered are top-notch, including a fitness center, and beautifully landscaped outdoor areas.
