I went in for a cut and dye job, I told her I wanted a long Bob about 3 inch past my shoulders. My hair was to my shoulder blades. This was the second time I've ever dyed my hair. First my hair was cut, while cutting she cut it about a inch above my shoulders. This was the shortest I've ever had my hair, but I thought ok it still looks good. She then decided a bayalage would look the best, she did each section in foil and I sat for a few hours. When she washed it out it was to yellow so she did a toner for 20 mins. She said it was still to yellow so she did another toner, I was told It will only be on for 10 to 15 mins. She then went to another client and started dying her hair. I was watching the clock because the smell was giving me a headache since I had dye in my hair for 4 hours at this point. She came back to me 35 mins later and washed it out. My hair was then cut more because it was uneven. I was handed a bill for $211 But was given 20% off so I paid $185. Not given any further instruction so I was off.at dinner I noticed a few chunks of hair that felt rough. The next morning I washed my hair, air dried it and straightened it on med heat. The chunks that were rough fell off while in my hair straightener. I looked closer and if I bent those areas they just broke away. I called the salon, I was told they would send me a deep conditioning treatment to help. But she had to talk to someone first, she would get back as soon as possible. After 24 hours of waiting I called ulta 1-866 number told them what happened they assured me I would get a call within the hour, I waited 5 hours. I called the salon again hoping to talk to the manager, she asked my name and told me to hold. I was promptly hung up on. This happened twice. I called ulta 1-866 number again and reported everything again. She was extremely nice and told me to put coconut oil and olive oil mask on it asap and she would call the general manager. It is now tuesday, 3 days after reporting what happened and the salon has yet to call me, or help me with this problem. I now have 2 inch sections about 2 inches from the bottom missing, and 3 inch hairs all over the top of my head. The bottom of my hair in some parts are so damaged they need to be cut off. I do not recommended them to anyone, the customer service it's self is atrocious. All I have done is cried. I can't wash my hair or brush it without...
Read moreExtremely poor management. Some days back, I went to buy a perfume for myself, and the lady on perfumes area, I believe her name was Dorian, did not have any knowledge about the perfumes AT ALL, she was just guessing her way through it. I tested and selected a perfume, she said she’ll have it at the counter, I purchased what she had put on the counter and went home and it was totally a different perfume than the one I tested and selected. NOT JUST THAT, while I was there, the lines were super long and moving extremely slow, only two people were at the counter, I looked over and saw two ulta employees just gossiping and laughing with each other, and not even caring for the big annoying checkout line, one of them which I later found out from the cashier employee that she was the manager by the name SADIE, LITERALLY SO IRRESPONSIBLE AND SELFISH EXCUSE OF A MANAGER, -1/10 for her management.
On the contrary, when I went to return the incorrect perfume, I met a lady by the name of Nina, she wore a scarf, and she was really knowledgeable about the perfumes she was dealing with, she was extremely sweet and helpful. Personally it felt like she knew the perfumes she worked with on her fingertips, really 100/10 for her. Whichever perfume I asked her to show me, without any bad expression or attitude, she went an extra mile to help get it for me from the locked cabinet things for the testers. Long story short, I got the perfume from her and it all went great. I even told my sister that if she ever goes to this ulta for perfumes, look for Nina and buy from her.
Im telling you guys, I would have given this ulta a 0 star because of those employees Dorian and Sadie but my extremely nice experience with Nina...
Read moreI’ve been into this location a few times most the time I’m not even greeted or asked if I need help after shopping around for a while, not really been a problem because I usually know what I’m looking for before going in, but today I go in to do an “easy” return for an online order as stated on the online slip and head to the cashier at the front, Zulemia. At first she seemed like she wanted to help but that tune changed. I told her I wanted to make a return for 2 items, she asked the usual questions (were they opened, etc). Not sure if she was new but she didn’t seem to know how to make the return for an online order, she begins to call her higher up for help (ok, that’s fine), but once she’s runs into getting the second item on the return she then says to me “was this in the same order?” Yes, I’ve only placed one order and everything came together… begins to ramble more on the register and tells me “No, you did not purchase this with rest of your order”. I ask her “is it not listed on the online slip?”, “no, it’s not showing up”… so now I’m confused because I’m not sure what she’s talking about, she begins to gather an attitude and again calls for higher up for help where she clearly shows her the item is indeed listed on the slip she was given. Proceeds with the return and tells me “have a nice day”. No apology for YOUR simple mistake and then making me feel as though I did something wrong with not bringing the correct information, literally making a simple return complicated without any accountability that you were actually wrong. Either way women like that make it hard to go into stores like these, thank God for...
