2/2025: Customer service did improve. They're more helpful and actually seem like they care. It's a big improvement.
9/3/23: I had to revise my review and rating. I went to the other restaurant depot on 13th. They treat you so much better. The customer service is on point. They're helpful and make the process easier to get in and out. The Clinton location, most of the time, The employees are rude, and they act like they're doing you a favor like you're not paying for this service. Ignoring you when they see you want to check out. They'll turn their back or walk away. Now I just put on my headphones and don't engage until check out.
Sometimes I have a good cashierlike today. He was so friendly and cool. Other times they're epicly horrible on the verge of disrespectful tbqh. I've been going to the location on 13th a majority of the time. When I step in the Clinton location I don't expect the same level of customer service or kindness.
4/23/22: I was looking to get some chicken backs for stock, but there was no chicken in that section. There were breasts and thighs in another section. I do not know if they were restocking, but everything was running low. I went at 8am. I added the picture of what I saw. Front desk person was nice to me again we're on a streak and I like it.
10/2021: I added pictures of part of the frozen meat section. I needed some gloves but I'll bring them next time. All the employees were helpful and friendly. They're still letting in customers that do not own restaurants. Bring your mask and some form of ID. Until next time. I hope this review was helpful.
5/2021: I added more photos. I hope this review is helpful. I love their bulk spices and other products. I didn't take pictures of the meat section since I forgot my jacket and my hands were cold. Please see below about the temperature of this facility. Don't forget your mask. I do not know if its required but the staff had them on and so did I. Some of the employees did have attitudes but not a majority of them.
4/2020: Omgoodness I usually use instacart but I'll be going myself from now on. The prices are lower when you physically go to the store. Excellent selections, low prices, bulk items, great customer service. Bring a jacket because it gets cold in the freezer/refrigerated sections. Its warmer in the aisles so a big coat might be too much. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was in a rush.
Better prices than Sam's or Costco. Just bring your driver's license or ID to the customer counter to get your temporary license to shop. I hope this review...

My name is Tulu, owner of Shebelle Market. We’ve been doing business with Restaurant Depot since 2004, back when we operated a single location. Today, our business has grown to multiple locations, and we've continued to rely on Restaurant Depot as a trusted supplier over the years. However, the experience I had today at your Greenwood Village location was one of the worst I’ve encountered in all my years of doing business.
At 5:02 PM, I called the store to ask if onions were in stock. I clearly stated that I needed more than 30 bags and explained that I would be arriving close to closing time — around 5:50 PM — and would only need 5–10 minutes to pick up the order and check out. I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem.
I arrived at 5:54 PM, went directly inside, picked up the onions, and headed straight to checkout. I was at the register by 5:58 PM. The cashier was still checking out the customer in front of me, and I clearly saw that their transaction went through at 6:00 PM. When it was my turn, I was told the store was closed and that I would not be checked out.
I politely explained that I had called ahead, was given permission to come, and was already at the register before closing. I also asked to speak with a manager, but was told he was "too busy" to talk to me and that I would need to return the next morning at 7:00 AM.
I didn’t argue — I simply asked for the cashier’s name (she said her name is Marry), left the products behind, and walked out. But I was extremely frustrated. I wasted nearly an hour and a half — 40 minutes each way — and I took all the right steps to avoid exactly this kind of situation. I even took a photo of the previous customer’s transaction time to show that I was next in line and unfairly denied service.
What makes this even more disappointing is that years ago, one of your representatives personally came to my store to win back my business. Had that not happened, I likely would not have returned after a previous bad experience.
This kind of treatment toward long-standing, loyal customers is not just frustrating — it’s completely unacceptable.
I respectfully request that management review your security footage and register logs from around 6:00 PM on April 10, 2025, and take appropriate action with the staff involved.
Sincerely, Tulu Owner,...
Read moreIf I could rate this place a negative -1 I would! I used to dread coming to this place because the lines took forever…until about 4 months ago I went with my husband and kids a few times within 3 weeks and I first was greeted by * Amber * in the front desk she was SO HELPFUL and sweet as can be I forgot to sign the child waiver form but she kindly reminded me unlike the other 2 ladies one named Cindy and the other I don’t know her name. The other two ladies especially Cindy like to yell and tell me if I can’t sign remember to sign the waiver when I walk in “ she wont f*g help me if I need help “ very welcoming right?
A few days later my husband and kids and myself returned this time Amber was a cashier at checkout Yes there was a little wait time BUT NOT LONG at all…and even though there was 2 different cashiers Amber was the fastest one…she was flying through the lines at a very reasonable but fast pace. Amber had the best positive attitude. Always keeping a conversation so it wasn’t awkward, sometimes letting my kids help her if the lines weren’t long. And you can’t forget Rafael if he was there he would bring my daughters suckers. (Along with any other child in line)
The few times I had went back I always went to Amber because she was just the vibe and got me in and out.
I needed help in the meat department another time and she had a gentlemen named Frank help me…he was very kind and helped me bring the cart to the front because it was so heavy and no one would respond to him on the radio to help me.
Fast forward to me going in a few times within this past month. I was told Amber was let go ( by the RUDEST lady ever I can’t remember her name but she was short with an accent I believe her name started with an S I could be wrong. )
I will never go back to this place as the lines are back to long the Employees are BEYOND rude the sweet customer service that was there is now gone again, It was so bad I will be calling corporate…my family / company and a few other businesses I know will take our shopping else where…hopefully I can find Amber or someone sweet like Amber at another restaurant depot if not we will completely stop shopping with...
