Alpine Mini Golf — Attraction in Helen

Wonderful experience! It had been over 15 years since I had visited this location. Upon arrival I realized that there was not a way to access the building that didn't involve stairs. I called the office from my car to see if I just couldn't spot another way in. Being disabled, the stairs were not an option for me. The young man who answered was very polite. He came out to my vehicle and said that he would run in and make my transaction so that my daughter and I could play. He pointed out that i may have difficulty getting to some of the holes but to just choose any other holes to substitute those that I couldn't get to.

The decorations and garden were as lovely as I had remembered. The place is old, but that is part of it's charm. Enjoy the game with oldies playing over the speakers.

We visited 9/21/24 around 9:30 AM and were the first ones to start playing mini golf that day. There is a discount if you pay with cash.

It was around 68 when we started to play and around 78 degrees when we finished. There are seats and shaded areas to take breaks from the sun. I imagine it is tougher to play between 11-3 PM on a hot/sunny day.

There is a cute overview display case of the miniature golf area inside the start of the store.

There were some putting ranges to practice at the start. We spent 1.5 hours playing 18 holes of mini golf.

It felt like we were mini golfing in a beautiful park. The area was well kept/maintained, though there were some spiders & webs up in trees. There is a wonderful lady that takes great care of the mini golf course. You could tell they care about the experience for their patrons.

As soon as we walked in, we found ourselves enjoying the displays. One was a scale model of the building and surrounding areas and it was pretty awesome. Interior was well maintained and inviting. Both employees were very helpful and kind.

The course is nothing too crazy, but it looked great and was very convenient. We played behind a larger group so we took advantage of the well placed (and beautifully decorated) sitting areas that were at EVERY hole!

It began raining once we hit the 12th hole so we decided to head inside and enjoy a some ice cream. The employee let us know that we could come anytime during the day once it finished raining to complete the course. That was awesome!

Once we entered the ice cream parlor (incredibly well decorated!!!!) we were told that our mini golf ticket gave us 10% off of our purchase. My wife and I ordered 2 root beer floats. The ice cream was incredibly fresh.
