Great place to grab a simple lunch or dinner. They have taken getting a hot dog to a different level. The owner and her son are super nice and care about making their customers happy. The hot dogs have no equal. Whether you get the Chicago style Vienna or the all beef, you will not find a better hot dog. I tried the bratwurst with sauerkraut on a pretzel bun, the corn dog, the polish kielbasa and the foot long all beef. The bratwurst is cooked perfectly and the Dijon mustard and slightly sweet and tangy sauerkraut balance flavors perfectly. The pretzel buns hold up well with a firm outside to keep from being soggy and falling apart while staying soft and flavorful inside. The corn dog is the classic fair ground style and will ignite the memories of getting them as a kid at the amusement park but with much higher quality. The kielbasa with grilled onions and peppers is outstanding. Quite possibly my favorite sausage and peppers ever. Perfect snap with the casing of the sausage, beautiful sweetness of the grilled peppers and onions. You can put mustard on it but it really isn't needed. Finally, the foot long all beef. THE BEST HOT DOG IN GEORGIA!!!! It is cooked perfect and the bun is soft as a cloud. I went with chili, mustard and they mixed up a slaw for me at my request with their delicious Cole slaw with candied jalapenos, jalapenos and their jalapeno sauce mixed in. It was without a doubt my favorite hot dog I have had from anywhere. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed with a truly welcoming family feel. If you want a place to enjoy simple food done at the highest level, please enjoy this hidden mountain gem with...
Read moreThe girl took my order which I think she was in la la land rather than paying attention to the order because when the food came out . The whole order was wrong she even gave us the wrong drinks. Ask for plain cheeseburgers and got with onions . I guess at this time the employee got upset because our whole order was wrong . So I had my grandkids and I took out oder to go and had to throw the whole order away. The owner leighann started blowing up my phone that we were no longer welcomed at her restaurant by the way it's a hot dog stand. She was a very unprofessional. She told me to keep my grandkids as she called them brats . My granddaughter could not eat onions that they put on the cheeseburger when we requested a plain cheeseburger. And the owner precedes to send me mean emojis throw up emojis and just keeps ranting on and on .We will never go back. Sad thing is there were no other people there as being busy to screw the whole order up. And she informed me that she did a refund and then sent me that she divided it between her employees. Good for her . Thats none of my business on how she spends her money.. but I am grateful that my grandchildren learned a lesson on how they're still ugly people out in the world. And we just move on . In any business there's an appropriate way to deal with things. And acting like a five-year-old sending throw up emojis is not one of them. But Thank you!!! Don't ever...
Read moreFor starters: the food is good and the young lady who took our order was such a sweetheart. The thing that ruined our experience was the manager. We ordered a meal for three people, which included and Chicago dog that had two toppings removed. Not too long after ordering, we hear the manager shout at the top of her lungs complaining about the way this hotdog was put into the system. “A Chicago dog with toppings taken off is a build your own, I say this all the time!”. I understand if something should be a certain way, but there is absolutely no reason to treat the people you work with like this. Let alone in front of customers, of which many were upset by this altercation. Not only did she make all of this commotion; but she, the manager, still went ahead and made the hotdog WITH the all of the toppings including the two we requested to remove. She then argued with the lady up front about the toppings yet again, saying that we would receive the hotdog as a Chicago dog with all the toppings included rather than just not putting on those specific toppings. The manager would then continue to angrily yell other things loud enough for all those out front to hear. You should not cause a scene like this, let alone treat anyone in the manner of which she had. She is a person, not just an order...
