After 2 years taking my son to skate in this rink, we had lots of wonderful memories here and had seen a huge improvement in management and classes as well. My son started here from knowing nothing about skating and growing into a happy hockey player at a very young age, thanks to their public classes and private coach (Thanks, Coach Rufino). It is such a friendly, welcoming environment. Staffs are nice and patient and their manager and director are always out there helping and talking to customers. Of course, nothing is perfect. We had an incident of price dispute about child ticket recently and it wasn't being handled properly by the staff. After reporting it to the management, the issue was resolved immediately and I received an in-person apology from management during my next visit. No harms done and we are still loving the place. So, if you are like us, enjoying a quality ice rink and warming staff, come to Galleria. If there is anything you want to discuss, do what I do, talk to or email Paul or Michelle and they will take care of it.

Ice at the Galleria is a sparkling gem nestled in the heart of Houston’s premier shopping mall. As soon as you step onto the rink, you're enveloped by the buzz of excitement and the cheerful ambiance. The pristine ice surface, meticulously maintained, provides a smooth and exhilarating glide for skaters of all levels. Surrounded by the mall’s upscale shops and vibrant atmosphere, it’s a perfect blend of leisure and luxury. Families, friends, and couples alike find joy in this winter wonderland, whether it's a first-time skate or a regular outing. The rink offers ample seating for spectators, allowing non-skaters to soak in the experience comfortably. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a safe and enjoyable time for everyone. After skating, the array of dining options and retail therapy at the Galleria completes the day perfectly. Whether you're looking to escape the Texas heat or just want a unique and memorable experience, Ice at the Galleria is a delightful destination.

The Ice Skating Rink at the Galleria Mall in Houston is a notable attraction, even if you're not planning to glide across the ice. Situated within the bustling mall, it adds a distinctive dimension to the shopping experience. The rink itself is generously sized and thoughtfully located adjacent to the mall's vibrant food court. During the holiday season, this venue takes on a truly enchanting character, with a grand Christmas tree gracing the center of the rink. This festive addition transforms the area into a winter wonderland, imbuing it with a magical atmosphere that enchants both shoppers and skaters. While I haven't personally partaken in ice skating here, it's evident that this indoor rink offers a delightful and engaging activity for those looking to enjoy some ice time. Whether you're an avid skater or just curious, the Galleria's Ice Skating Rink is certainly worth a visit, providing an extra layer of entertainment within this popular shopping destination.

Don't recommend ever signing up your kids for their Ice Skate summer Camp at the Galleria. My kids are in the summer camp for this week and it's disappointing to hear how they are doing when picked up. Almost $800 spent for two kids (10yo & 13yo). My kids dislike it very much. They stay positive because they get some time on the ice. However half the time they are in a room not doing anything productive. If I was able to put them into another camp for the remainder of the week on short notice, I would gladly do so. They teach for only two 30-minute sessions and majority of the remainder of the 6 hour camp is not productive. Paid extra $30 per day ($15 per kid) for early drop-off, however my wife has had to wait at least 30 minutes each day and arrive late to work because no one is there during the time we paid for. The first day every instructor arrived late. My wife received a follow up call from their coordinator apologizing, however was also asked if we had even registered the kids for the camp and paid for early drop off. They claimed to not have any information of our kids registry even though they had our number to call, took payment after filling out all the forms and we have receipt. That made us question immediately if we left our kids in a safe place. On top of that also we realized there wasn't a sign in sheet when we dropped them off. They apologized for all of their instructors not being on time to receive our kids at our paid promised time and stated would not happen again, however it continues. The kids don't like staying until 3pm, and feel miserable being there, so we arrange to pick them up early. One of their instructors told them during introduction "do not come near my face and don't touch my clothes." That is definitely not your usual introduction. The kids have had cold food everyday, and so far the only Chili's food they have enjoyed is the orange juice. Cold food and hot salad doesn't make sense. The activity off the ice is not what is advertised. The kids made a paper fan with paper plates and popsicle sticks the first day (which was the first day only which is "Art & Crafts") and have reported absolutely no other activity done these past few days (unless to play Uno Cards). They just sit in a room with no other activities planned. The kids are discouraged to bring devices (iPads, etc.) because the facility is not secure and their devices most likely will be stolen if left alone. In my opinion the kids shouldn't have to bring devices if the camp already claimed to have the day planned as advertised - "Scavenger Hunts, Build Your Own Cookie & Pasta, Karaoke, On-ice Games & Dancing, Movies, Bubble Mania, Skate With Chillsworth the Penguin, Arts & Crafts, Build Your Own Ice Cream Sundae, Music & Movement". A camp shirt was also advertised to be provided, however no camp shirt has been issued to my kids as of yet. I write this in the hopes that others at least may be able to know better than I did. There is no money back guarantee. Additional note, had to buy ice skates for the kids, because the ice skates provided at the Galleria are very uncomfortable and hurt my kids feet and arches. I tried them also, your feet will thank you if able to avoid using the Galleria ice skates. Maybe better if using extremely thick socks with arch supporters inside because the shoes are hard plastic and oddly shaped inside without...

My daughter enrolled in learn to skate and also had a private coach. Her coach was wonderful.. however on a Saturday morning while waiting to take the ice one of their coaches singled out my daughter she obviously didn't like much, she is 6 yrs old, and told her she could not watch the classes from the doorway. Note: others do, children, adults,. Etc. When she went to other location where she was watching from as told to, she chased her from there also. I got involved and that Coach tongue lashed me.. during the public skate my daughter was on ice they had coned off most the ice for private lessons.. and Coaches were also using most the other ice for same limiting the amount of ice for those paying. My daughter was watching a lesson. She paid had every right to be anywhere on ice. They told her to go away..the general manager and that above mentioned coach insisted my daughter not watch the private lesson standing there. We left and while in parking garage that above named coach who was hostile to my daughter in rink tongue lashed us again accused my daughter of taking her daughter's Candy.. The director did not respond to emails. She had that general manager who defended that Coach calling her "valuable asset".. we refused to return to that hostile environment. The usfsa safe skate people said they would do nothing. Emotional abuse by a certified learn to skate coach should be dealt with. I just got an email from that manager of galleria ice who said the only hostility was from me. I've all the corresponding emails. I forwarded to learn to skate and safe skate people. I suggest you don't allow your children be exposed to such harmful abusive problems and people.

I understand why all the homeschool children are at other facilities and so many do learn to skate elsewhere. Note: This all happened after I questioned their advancing children to basic 3,4,5 who were not able to do basic 2 very well.. seems please parents was the key not the truth on progress. Anyways we'll never be back to galleria. I cracked a rib there because the ice not maintain well had a spot they knew about caused my...

I was told that for a child 🚸 with special needs, the ice is a special place 💕. Might be that time to once again shoot for the stars.

I see me in our children 🤔? Do you see you in your children? If so what would you be willing to risk for their safety 🦺 in terms of the future?

A human being told me yesterday that the United States of America has become a third 🥉 world 🌎🌍 country inferior to the masses?

What would it take for the United States of America to regain it's power?

If we are suggesting that people can pay off debt in less then two years of 180,000 thousand dollars?

How long would you estimate it would take to pay back China? Who we owe 30,000,000,000?

Ask yourself this question when you eat your queso dip in the land of the brave. Home of the free 🆓. How to we strengthen the United States of American dollar 💵? If everyone is sending them to their home 🏡 country?

Final question as you think 💬🤔 of your ultimate fantasy? 🧐

How strong would we be if we came out of the closet? 🤔

How strong would we be if we all joined force's as a third 🥉 world 🌎🌍 country people think 💬🤔 is a joke?

Imagine if we didn't have a bad selfish personality? And we had a great selfish sharing personality? Let that sink in deep into your brain 🧠. Especially over your next 🍺 or 🥃 shot of bourbon, whiskey, cognac, tequila, votka, rum, gin, as you wish to wash the pain away. 🤔

For me one of the greatest Russian, Chinese, American, French, British, European, South American, Australian, German, Italian, New Zealand, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Austrian, etc is ice skating, dancing 🩰, hockey 🏒, speed skating, competing isn't it?

If you asked one person in the world who should be the next president of the United States of America? Would your answer be an American born soldier? Or a foreign born dual citizen, of different decent?

I would vote for the American, to restore the faith of each & every immigrant & citizen that makes money's here? 😲 And sends it...
