Sharon and Patricia are my go toâs for monthly cut and shave!
The wait is never more than 10 minutes unless itâs packed.
The warm towel across my face at the end is always very relaxing.
The other stylists are also friendly and I have always been super thankful that a salon experience is available to those of us who are on a budget

Patricia did a fantastic job shaving and cutting my hair in less than 20 minutes. I am ready for my work week and I feel so much better. Iâm very lucky to be able to walk into this place. I only had to wait about 20 Update 03/16/2025: I still consider myself very lucky to be able to come to a downtown location. Get a really good haircut in the shave for an incredible price such professional service that would rival even the finest salon.
Itâs very comfortable inside. The seats are wonderful and I love the walk-in service. I recommend coming early.
The haircut machine combo is perfect for a guy like me, which is why I come here once a month

What a perfect day for me, but Patricia and Sharon were available and I got my haircut and my face shaped and I felt like such a new person. I was a walk in today but you could see the place was filling up quickly. This is one of the few places in downtown LA that offers such great service for an incredible price!
Both Patricia and Sharon are so personable so efficient so quick and so very good
Update: 12/30/2024: Patricia was so much fun. I needed my beard trim before the New Yearâs, and I was lucky enough to get seated in her chair.
Iâm so surprised and how thorough your stylists are here you wouldnât think that large salon chain such as this one would have such talented people, but I canât believe how careful they are and what great work they do.
I am always happy when I come here. Itâs always worth the 20 minutes to a half an hour depending on what my needs are and the value is incredible.!

Sharon always makes me feel lucky! Perfect cut and shave for job interview. Hot towel to finish and very quick if you need her to be, but very thorough.
I think you get a great cut and style for a reasonable and very fair price.
Iâve always been glad to clean up here!

Came in for a complete shave and a trim and Sharon did a fantastic job!
I always try to tip well because this location has a great prices for the services you receive!!
The super cut 2 is only $42!!! For downtown LA thatâs a steal and if you round up to $50? Thatâs a $8 tip that you wonât regret giving Sharon or Magda because theyâre definitely deserving!

Sharon always does the perfect beard trim and I was happy to see the other stylists busy here as well.
There are more expensive options but when you want a 5 star salon experience on a budget with very satisfying results the bang for buck choice is right here!
The air conditioning alone makes it pleasant to wait, but even that wonât be more than 10 minutes on most days.
The smart thing is to book an appointment and get yourself ready to have the cut or shave or both of your choosing so you can leave looking and feeling refreshed.

I am starting a new job tomorrow and I was lucky enough to be able to walk into Supercuts where Miss Magda gave me a really good shave in less than 20 minutes.
I like the way I look and I am ready for work. This is a very convenient place.
They have a lot of great fun here, if you need to look good, youâre ready to start a new job.

One to show how I wanted my hair to be again, the other the length in the back. I ended up with a super short crop cut instead of PIXIE cut. This woman needs to learn the deference between the styles. After I told her kindly to please stop cutting to just leave it alone and style it, she continued to cut the hair on the side. I told her again when she asked to cut my hair more on the back. I told her more firmly please stop cutting my hair. Style it and leave it alone. She asked if I was happy with it and I told her no unfortunately I am not happy with my cut I asked you to cut the bangs to hit my cheek bone and you cut it shorter than what I asked. She then tried to defend herself by saying "Well you wanted it to be short and if I left it alone it would look to heavy, I had to blend it." NEVER argue with an unhappy customer! Customer Service requires the employees to bite their tongue and say "I am sorry for the inconvenience." Yet after I told her I was unhappy she offered NO compensation for BUTCHERING my hair. If she could have cut my bangs the way I wanted I would be alright with my cut. It wouldn't be what I wanted but no she cut my bangs the way SHE thought it would look good on me. I have a round face having my bangs to shape my face REALLY makes a difference. Having NO bangs makes my face look... well you can see it and be the judge of that.

   Read moreAs much as I donât like to like get people in trouble and give bad reviews, I am totally disappointed with my service at Supercuts Patricia the manager of the The Supercuts in downtown Los Angeles (645 W 9th St # 111, Los Angeles, CA 90015) dyed my roots to get the grays out and my roots turned orange. Not only did that disappoint me but her behavior around it. She saw that she turned my roots orange since she cut and blow dried my hair afterwards . She let me leave the salon without admitting what she had done. I realized it when I got home. Itâs been a nightmare since. Here we are week later and I still havenât been refunded my tip. I canât get the orange out. Iâve tried it myself. I asked her for a refund which she gave me but then I was advised that I should get the tip back too and itâs been like a week now she said that the tip didnât go through. she apologizes when I threatened to give her a bad review so here I am giving her a bad review and I still havenât gotten my tip back and honestly the measly dollars I spent is not worth the comparison of how she destroyed my hair .I would like to get in touch with Patriciaâs manager at the Super Cuts on ninth and Flower.
