Panini Kabob Grill - Downtown LA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I usually love panini kabob grill so it really saddens me that I am this compelled to write a review like this, I arrived at the restaurant at 12:10 and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to come out (so far not so bad), the person I am with and I order our food at 12:25, then it takes an hour for the food to finally come out. I continuously looked at the clock because I genuinely could not believe how long it was taking for my food to come out. The person I was having lunch with literally had to leave because it took so long and they had to go back to work. When my food finally came out, the order was wrong. I can't eat dairy products and there was taziki sauce which I had asked to be removed when I ordered, the waitress takes the plate and scrapes the taziki sauce off the plate but half of my meal still had leftover taziki sauce on it so I couldn't eat the full meal. I wasn't even able to finish my meal because I also had to go back to work, I get the check and the meal comes out to over $50 when all that was ordered was a falafel plate with a side salad, and a sandwich with a salad. I was extremely disappointed with the meal today and the fact that many other groups of people who came to the restaurant after I did got served within 20 minutes when I was there for nearly 2 hours, my order was wrong, and I didn't even have time to...

Went in today to eat lunch. Stood at the stand waiting to be sat. Four individuals (caucasian) walked in and walked passed me to the inside of the restaurant. They saw me standing there and pretty sure they saw the sign. There were three servers that just walked right past me did not acknowledge me. Did not speak to me. Did not say anything to me. One of the servers came out with the four individuals and immediately set them. She was fair skinned with two braided ponytails. Oh nice said excuse me she put her finger in at one second and went back in the restaurant. A couple minutes passed by and then she comes back out and asked me. Is it just one eating I said no it’s too eating. I pointed out that she sent them first. She told me to choose a table, and I stated to her that they all needed to be wiped down. She stated to me I wiped this one down. I stated no you need to wipe them again because there’s clearly debris on it. She proceeded pick off a piece of the debris off the table and dust it off with her hand. I stated that it needed to be wiped down again. She came back with a towel and wiped only one of the two tables down that was put together as one. she then just walked off. So I just left. We have been here numerous times on lunch. The restaurant is very clean with friendly staff. Great location. The lady that helped me even made suggestions on different options that would be more cost-efficient​. I ordered the chicken kabob meal for a family of 2. As I am waiting for my food to be prepared at the bar. A male staff was standing by the register filling up a couple of plastic side containers with some type of sauce (im assuming for take out orders) I watched this guy get the sauce on his hands and rub it in the side​ containers multiple times instead of wiping his hands. His fingers were in the containers for the take out!!!! He was using a spoon to dip the sauce in the container so I am not understanding why his hands where touching the sauce inside the mini containers AND HE DIDNT HAVE GLOVES ON. He then went and served a table, touched another staff with the same dirty hands and begun dipping the sauce again topping it off with finger juice YUCK. Food: C-.
