If you're not buying in bulk, prices for retail shoppers range from amazing bargain to overpriced (sometimes you can find the same flowers cheaper at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods because those stores buy wholesale) so it pays to have a general idea of what things cost. Usually flowers are fresh and last a long time, but you get what you pay for. Beware the bargain that seems too good to be true. I got there at 9 am on a Friday and a lot of the vendors were already packing up for the day even though it says they're open till 1. New product comes in on Mondays so that's the best day to go for the freshest and best choices if can make it there. There are also plant vendors there if you're looking for a new tree if fern.
