Lenox Hill Radiology | Elmhurst Queens Boulevard — Attraction in New York

Unfortunately you have to retrain two of you secretary's. This is the first time I have visited your place,basically I deal with lenox Hill on Ralph Ave been dealing with them since it was doshi radiology. Do to the fact they don't do the type of screening I needed, I was sent to your site.i arrived at 10:05 and from that time on nothing but grief reading your posted sigh to see where to go I went downstairs when asking the secretary what to do she asked my name and what I was there for I explained to her everything was in the computer and wasn't sure witch yest it was,she looked it up and nasty saying to me you belong upstairs so I go back upstairs talked to a secretary there (short black hair) she asked the same questions as the one downstairs and I explained to her that everything was in the computer she then asked me for picture ID and I gave it to after she looks at it she was very nasty telling me this wasn't Lenox hill I was in the wrong building and flipped my ID back at me.well I left went to the main lobby crying etc... called lenox hill and told them what was going on ,while on the phone a lady who was waiting to be seen and approach me telling me to go back to the second floor when I come off the elevator to turn left.whell needless to say she was right Now Why Didn't the secretary tell me that.when going into that section and went to the window I had the pleasure to talk to a very nice gentleman there he heard what I went through with the other two secretary's all he could do was apologize repeatedly and took care of me with kindness and respect he did what papers needed to be done and all I had to do was sign them,he then told me where I had to go and I did.the one young lady there was a sweetheart in helping me to a handicap stall to change into the gown and guided me where I had to go.the technician I had was a sweetheart as well.love and respect to those 3 individuals need...

TL;DR, they made me pay, made me wait for over two hours, refused to do the procedure, and accused me of possibly fabricating lies about being pregnant to make them lose their jobs (!?)

The medical staff was extremely unprofessional. They won't take time to explain any procedures to you, and act annoyed when you ask them to explain. They treat you in a very condescending manner.

One of the staff just angrily told me "I won't deal with you anymore" and left the room with my documents...this is after her accusing me of being impatient, after waiting for two hours without any explanation as to why I was waiting for too long.

After waiting for two hours in vain, they told me I couldn't do anything today because I had to provide evidence that I wasn't pregnant (???). They made me wait for two hours and then refused to make the procedure booked months in advance without them telling me beforehand that I need to provide any evidence of non-pregnancy... What's worse, the staff had the audacity to suggest I could be "unfaithful" in disclosing information about being pregnant.

Any minimal professional place would have just made you sign a form saying you won't hold them accountable if anything happen to your non-existing pregnancy... instead of forcing you to have a pregnancy test and then suggesting you may fake it intentionally to get them fired... This place should offer mental health treatment for paranoia to their own staff.

Please, find another place to go for your medical care. I just checked my insurance and saw that there is another option just across the street. I'm sure you can find somewhere else in your plan as well, and I assure it would be better than this...

Disappointing Experience Update - I recently noticed an overcharge when reviewing my insurance claims. My share was supposed to be only $40, but I was charged $225, which I had already paid on the same day of the service. I only discovered this issue when I checked my insurance claims. As a result, I had to file a refund complaint to get the money back.

I had an appointment scheduled for 1:00 PM, but I ended up waiting over two hours before being called in for my examination. The waiting area was chaotic—other patients were loud, and there seemed to be no effort to maintain a calm, professional environment.

The worst part, however, was the staff. Both the coordinators and the technicians displayed terrible bedside manners. They were curt, dismissive, and showed no empathy for the long wait or the discomfort of the process. It’s clear that patient care and respect are not priorities here.

The staff’s behavior was even worse. Two employees openly joked about my procedure right in front of me, saying, “another mass,” and then giggling. I was stunned by their insensitivity. It’s hard enough to be in a vulnerable position without being mocked by the very people who are supposed to help.

Don’t be fooled by their 4.7-star rating on Google. A closer look reveals plenty of reviews echoing my experience: endless waiting and appalling bedside manners. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. What a complete mess!

This experience was frustrating and stressful from start to finish. If you value your time and expect professional treatment, I would strongly recommend looking for another radiology clinic. I would give zero...
