I have recently desided to revise my original review from a previous review that was posted after a negative experience i had with this company
Recently after posting a review some time ago i was contacted by a representative from NDR they seamed concerned and wanted to make things right after my negative experience. The representative did apologize and i do appreciate it not to many companies are willing to reach out to customers especially former customers to apologize and try to fix the issue and help that customer further to resolve any issues NDR was willing to help and resolve the issue or at least do what they could. As far as recommendations i would recommend that customers facing debt and needing help with it please do your research and ask questions even if the representative doesnt disclose everything at that time keep them on the phone and ask questions have them tell you everything thats important about the services they provide and keep them talking Explain your situation fully and ask the representative if theres anything you should know about the program that may cause issues for you later down the road in life what are the repercussions of getting debt relief assistance Then deside for yourself everyone should fell that they've been fully informed This program might not work for everyone so please do your research ask qestions and get further information Go online if you can and recerch ask others if you half to Bankruptcy attorneys are extremely expensive today and its getting worse and fileing isnt a garinty that a bankruptcy would be approved Both debt relief and bankruptcy filing have benefits and detrements Everyone should look into what would work for them and go from there I do appreciate NDR for their consern and willingness to contact me to help me after my experience with their company They were willing to resolve some of the issues that had happened that i had and i was told that they do appreciate the feedback it helps them out as well their always wanting and willing to inprove their company and the relationship that they have with their customers
OLD REVIEW I would strongly never recommend anyone use this service unless it was the only option left if your debt is so overwhelming that you need help this bad please first do your research If bankruptcy is an option if not just work with the creditors directly if you can When I had signed up for there service I felt that I was mislead there was very important information that was not disclosed to me at first when I had signed up which I felt that the sales person should have had told me and explained better Like Taxes The money they claim to save you You are to taxed later from the state you live in because it's forgiven debt and the state consideres that income taxable income Also debters do not have to work with them or agree to anything debt collectors do not have to work with them there is no law saying they have to they're incuraged to but they're not legal obligated to Do the math The amount of money you as the client pay them just to help you isn't worth it the fees are high and that's how they stay in business The time frame they claim they need to help you can take years depending on the debt you owe and even then it takes years to recover from because by that time your credit is bad really bad and is going to take time to rebuilt I feel that I should have done more research but unfortunately I feel that I was lied to about a lot of important information that should have been disclosed from the get go At least then I feel that I would have been able to make an informed decision I do feel like I was taken advantage of financially worse then the actual creditors who took advantage with the high interest loans and credit cards and then changing the interest rate because they can and did Companies like this really need to be closely investigated and monitored so that potential clients don't feel like they have fallen victim to just another scam when they've already been financially taken...
Read morePs, National Debt Relief, just so you know, my last Reddit post got over 1 million views. Update June 2025----25 million stars. I'm going to be taking them to small claims court. Here's my review I left in the BBB and I'll also be filing with the attorney general and everywhere else I can. I'm so sick of smoke being blown up my over and over and over again. I feel stupid this is carried on so long. I deeply regret ever enrolling in National Debt Relief’s program. I “graduated” their service under the impression that all my accounts were fully paid off—only to find out that wasn’t true. One of my creditors (Victoria’s Secret) WAS paid, but National Debt Relief failed to request the correct payoff amount. Because of that, the account continued accruing interest and late fees. The balance is now back up to $400, and I’m still getting notices and collection threats to this day. I brought this to their attention back in February, and every time I call, I’m met with the same empty promises: “We’ll escalate this,” “We’ll take care of it,” “We’ll call you back.” No one ever follows through. They acknowledge it’s their fault, yet they do nothing to make it right. I’ve called dozens of times, and every time it’s like a copy-paste interaction—more lip service, zero action. Also, it’s pretty clear this is a tiny operation pretending to be a professional service. Every time I ask for the same supervisor, the reps know exactly who I mean and seem to just walk over and hand them the phone—which tells me I’m dealing with a skeleton crew that’s totally over their heads. This company damaged my credit, caused me stress, and strung me along for months with false promises and zero accountability. They claim to be consumer advocates, but in my experience, they’re just another predatory company that fails to deliver what they sell. Do not trust them.
Review previously:: I want to give it more stars however the end of our relationship basically blew up in my face so now I have to give it two and kind of want to give it one. Basically, they help you pay off all your creditors and it's a really good service. It's organized and it does what you could never seem to do on your own. They talk to the creditors and negotiate with them, and the creditors actually negotiate back unlike when I was trying to do it myself, and they're responsible for the legal aspects of things like if creditors sue you, etc. But, just when you have all your stuff paid off or almost, and you're extensively happy..they tell you that they've sold your debt to someone else and that you have no choice but to agree because that's how it is. You have to sign saying you agree that this company "Reach" is taking over your debt. They're not going to manage it anymore is what they say. What can you do? Force them to continue to manage it? No. So then all of the sudden when you were supposed to be debt-free in 3 years, turns to looking at 2028 which is what, 6 years for me? Double what I signed up for. Talk about pissing me off. And there's nothing I can do. I'm now making these payments that I agreed to make initially for 3 years, for six. Or more, I forgot if it was 2028 or 2029. 6 or 7 years. The short of a decade. What's the difference anymore, I'm screwed. So thanks. No really, that's just what I wanted. Thanks. Oh and also, everything you sign in the beginning goes out the door with this. Realize that all the numbers you wrote down in the beginning, for example the interest you'll have paid over time or the full amount that you'll have paid when you're done, those numbers are irrelevant now. Because now it's a new company. So guess what I end up paying in the end? So much money, you would never guess. Compare the numbers of where I was before this and where I'll be after...
Read moreSo this is going to be long! A few years ago I reached out to National Debt Relief and they took my case and we came to an agreement which was high but never the less I needed help so I agreed and I paid $250 3very 2 weeks and I was told that it would take at least 2 years to get it straight which I thought was a really long time but still I needed the help so moving forward I paid it well 2 years came up and I spoke to them multiple time throughout the 2 years which they would reach out to me about the settlement on each debt but when I had asked where we were with everything they informed me that it was going to be another 2 years I about fell on the floor so right then and there I ended my contact and still was in major debt almost as if they did nothing with my money to fix anything so I left quietly and would deal with it on my own. But no it didn't end there they sold my email information to 3rd party people and now all 3 of my email addresses have been getting swamped by them other people sending me emails to use them again and I have literally unsubscribe, blocked and even called them to stop the emails they said we took you off the mailing list and gave me a number to call to remove my name from all emails and absolutely nothing I have done ha worked it has gotten even worse and because I have had those email addresses for so long and I run my work though those email i can't just stop using them but I literally get 6-8 emails from them every day and nobody can help me stop them because those 3rd party people send encrypted (TLS) which means Transpot-layer security so everytime you try to send them a message to please stop sending me emails an error message comes up and says address not found so your message wasn't delivered because the domain couldn't be found this has got to be the most frustrating thing I have ever been through so not only did I spend money hand or fist now I dealing with this insane issue almost as if well your not going to give us your business or money wel then we're going to sell you info. and drive you absolutely crazy for not using them so I've decided to now this week reach out to an attorney and see what can be done im not looking to sue or get money I just want to be left alone buy this bullying corporation and ill be reaching out to the better business bureau and whatever else I can do to get them to stop but if I find out they wasn't supposed to 3rd party my information I will absolutely sue the hell out of them so I'm telling eveyone to absolutely NOT use these people regardless of how many good reviews you read honestly these people have taken millions of dollars from the public so do you not think they have the money to pay people to leave 5 star reviews! BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY EVERYBODY!!!! I left pictures of just some of the harassing emails good luck and I hope this sheds some light on this...
