I stumbled upon this place a week ago looking for a sleeper sofa for my guest room, my family was coming in yesterday. I’ve been searching for weeks and this was my last stop before i just ordered online. Best prices by far here and surrounding cities. I Found the perfect sectional everything was good they even offer military discount. My sales rep was Kristi, i told her my situation and that i was coming back with a truck to pick it up next week. I come back Wednesday and it’s at the warehouse, which closes at 4. I wasn’t told this and rented a truck already. She tells me the manager Raven Paul would meet me after work Thursday so i could have it for my family. I asked is it for certain because otherwise i need to go somewhere else. She calls and he says he’ll meet me. I took off work early so it wouldn’t be too long and as im heading there im calling, neither Kristi or raven was answering. Called over 30 times, I called the store and Lamar answered, i told him my dilemma and to try to reach one of them. He couldn’t get anyone to meet me at the store because i didn’t get a written agreement from them 2. He then reached out to the owner and he accommodated me meeting me at the warehouse to pick up my things. If not I’d be getting a refund and going else where. Very unprofessional on Kristi and Raven side. I’m sure they told me they would be there on their days off (didn’t even tell me both them would be off) just so they could keep a sale and didn’t even care about my situation or that i would pay extra 180 for delivery. I would suggest giving the commission to Lamar since he made things happen for me in crunch time. I like the store and their options of different furniture. I will go back but i won’t be working with them. Lamar is the guy! Otherwise 5 stars, the Jesse sofa sleeper is very comfortable and just legs to put together. High quality for a great price. Read moreVERY mixed feelings about this company, the only I like about this company is that they had everything in stock versus every other furniture store was a waiting list. But after going through the experiences that my family and I went through, now I see why everything was in stock! They’re selling used furniture smh! I found this out through the delivery guy after he delivered my dresser. What I do not appreciated is the fact that they were selling their customers these furniture pieces at the prices (especially what I paid) and not even informing customers of this. If you’re going to give customers used off the sales floor furniture let US be the judge of if we want to buy it or even want it for that sake! After mentioning this to James, he had the audacity to offered $50 off just the dresser! Never again will I shop here nor my family. Although Kyle was a good sales guy, however he failed to mentioned that when delivery according to James everything must be clear meaning no pictures on the walls. Which was the first time hearing that AFTER the fact that one of their delivery guy knocked down and broke one of my pictures off my wall. The second delivery experience was awful. I no longer trust what they’re selling. But I must said the LAST experience with them finally sending me a brand new dresser, the delivery experience with the delivery guy Lamar was excellent, I would definitely recommend LAMAR AND THE NEW GUY Derrick! They without breaking anything got the job done and was very polite, honest, and respectful. They should make Lamar the manager and teach those other guys great customer service skills, like the one he has!!!! He deserves a raise on how much he values...
Read moreI had been to at least 10 stores in the Charleston area searching for a new sectional sofa. A friend suggested Atlantic Bedding and Furniture, so I figured I’d give it a try. I only wish I had known about this place sooner. I was greeted by Matt when I walked in, told him what I was looking for, and he showed me the layout of the store, then went back to his desk and just told me to come grab him if I had any questions. Relief. I hate being hounded by a nagging salesperson, and I also hate being brushed off as someone who’s not a serious buyer because of my appearance(and believe me, I’ve encountered both plenty of times.) I found the sectional I had been looking for pretty much right when I walked in the door, but I still did a loop then came back and started hovering over the sectional I would end up buying. I wanted a little bit different configuration than the display, but that was easy for Matt to figure out. He also came out of the gate willing to work with me on pricing, which I haven’t encountered in any other store in the area. It was an easy decision to make the purchase, and zero pressure was applied to me to do so, which is probably why it was such an easy decision. I got a great, American manufactured product from an outstanding local business, and will be returning here first for any future needs when it comes to furniture. Can’t wait for delivery day!...
