Quick review DON'T STAY HERE
We booked this place because it was one of the few rooms available in Pigeon Forge while traveling home. We were given our key and told where our room was and when we entered the room we could tell it had not been cleaned since the last guest, they had replaced the towel/rags, and made the bed, but that's it. When I say they made the bed they literally made the bed after the last guest left, not changed any of the covers. Pre covid this was not acceptable and most certainly not during a pandemic. We folded back the covers and found grease stains like someone had covered themselves in lotion and then crawled into bed. We fold back the covers on the 2nd bed and seen some hairs, after pulling the sheet all the way down it looked like a very hair person had checked in and a smooth legged individual had checked out. I call to the front desk and get the most lethargic employee who says they will come and "see what they can do." She gets to the room and we point out that it looks like they had not cleaned the room and her response is "We have been booked solid and only have 2 maids." I explained it doesn't matter how many maids you have, you can't just make the bed and call it clean. She agrees to change the sheets. We left for dinner and when we came back over 2hrs later we found the fitted sheet had been changed, but the other sheet and covers were not changed but just piled up on the bed and stool in the room. I call to the front and the same lady answered. She told me " I thought you only wanted the bottom sheet changed..." I pulled beach towels from the car, and we used those to cover up with and got as good a sleep as we could(which wasn't very good) we checked out as soon as we could the next morning expressed our concerns to the current front office staff(who apologized half heartedly) and reported them to the BBB of Pigeon Forge, but they are not BBB accredited so it is just to inform people of how bad it is (they are ranked F)
I added pictures to show how the room was when we got back, and some of the dirty of the room, so buyer be ware and...
Read moreDO NOT LEAVE VALUABLE BELONGINGS IN YOUR ROOM. We had a bag of shoes (men's pumas, women's skechers and boys jordan shoes) in a plastic grocery bag sitting in the floor. We came back and the bag was missing. There was new towels in the room but our trash was still there. I went to the front desk and the man working the front checked the notes and house keeping only marked fresh towels, trash WAS NOT MARKED OR TAKEN. He stated he would contact the owner but she won't be in until the morning. I ended up stopping back in the office and asked to see the footage of housekeeping walking out of our room because the camera for the pool, our room was in that shot. Conveniently since there was another woman working (who was very very nice) and she was appalled that we had missing items, the man was going to check lost and found. Of course it was there, and he said that the housekeeping lady is foreign and was probably just confused. But trash wasn't taken or marked so it was definitely deliberately. I tried speaking to the owner the next morning, she was "out of town." When we checked out on Sunday, nobody was in the office and I had to drop off my key in the box.
The room was ok, they had repainted and there was hair in the paint. The threshold/transition piece was missing between the carpet and the linoleum. Wear shoes because I stepped on a nail. We was in a no smoking room but it smelt like stale cigarette smoke. I kept dousing febreze and would leave the patio door open. There was also beer bottles and cans left out back and the desk chair was still on the patio. The people beside us was constantly smoking on their patio, in their non smoking room, and it was always traveling over to us.
The only good thing is the location. Pool is small but worked for our kids.
This is a long complaint and generally I am not one to complain. But how the theft was handled was unprofessional and therefore we had to ride around with anything valuable in fear of being...
Read moreIf I could give LESS THAN 1 star I would. We booked a room for 2 nights this past weekend. We had 2 other friends who booked for the same time. I GOT THE LINK AND NUMBER from 1 of those friends. Neither of us could get the link to work so we both called the same number. They charge them $112 for 2 nights so I called to book as well. They charge me $161. I didn't realize that till we got checked in. We were told that the Red Rooster Pancake house gave a discount if we told them we were staying here. We went there to eat (11 of us) & asked for the discount & they said they don't give discounts to folks in that hotel. Said they didn't know why they were telling people that. Last but not least I was sitting in my car waiting on my husband. We were parked directly in front of room #110. The folks in that room CHECKED OUT. THEY were not staying another night. I watched the cleaning lady and man totally not change the bed clothes. They simply pulled the covers up and made the bed. I found myself staring & told my friend in the room beside us 'Oh my God...I'm going to be sick....they aren't gonna change the bed clothes, they just remade the bed.'. I sat there and watched them. They vacuumed, and made the bed up. I'm certain the woman heard me telling my friend what I saw. So what did they do? Changed the pillow cases but nothing else. Tried to act like they didn't know English! So when I went to the desk at checkout I asked why I was charged more? The lady said I called a different # from my friends. I told her nope....I got the number from 1 of my friends so we called the same number. She kept arguing with me and told my friend that I was ANNOYING HER CAUSE I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. I wouldn't stay here ever again if there was no other place available. Oh yeah....and the wonderful picnic tables out back....you can't sit on them all except for 1 new plastic one cause the wooden onest are...
