This place is a complete waste of time and money. For starters, you’re advertising having “snow tubing” but there is a couple random piles of snow and some artificial grass spray painted white. The “snow” on the slide is just ice. When we asked about this, we were told that it was “the same as Ober Gatlinburg” …. I’m not sure if this employee has ever been to Ober but this place is not comparable in any way. My six year old who was so excited to see snow for the first time started to cry when we arrived because what we expected it to be (based off pictures from the website) was not what we saw when we arrived. The snow tubing is a glorified slide. Since we had already spent $40 a person, we went ahead and went through with it. Once we got to the line to get tubes, my daughter asked to ride double because she was nervous. The employee told us that she had to have a red wristband to ride double. Once she started crying and as we were scrambling trying to figure out what to do, the employee very abrasively told us that if he had another double tube left after everyone went through the line that then she could get one. There are no signs posted or anything on the website that states this is a requirement to ride double. Although my six year old is 47 inches, she is still just that, a six year old who was very nervous. After going down, I can to the conclusion that there is no way a child under the age of probably 8 should be going down that alone. It goes extremely fast, and there is a point where you catch air. There is a very high chance that a small child could let go due to being scared and come out of these tubes. Lastly, you pay for a 90 minute time slot where you would expect you could at the very least go 4-5 times. Well since the slots are extremely overbooked, you spend most of the time waiting in line to go down. I do understand that it is the holidays in a tourist town, but at the very least the employees here could have attempted to make our experience somewhat more enjoyable by having a positive attitude, but we were met with nothing but rude employees who didn’t care about trying to...
Read moreDon’t expect a lot of value doing snow tubing. They oversell the time slots where you have way to many people there each hour and a half. Tons of people were complaining it was too crowded. 4 rides down the mountain in an hour and half and we were the very first ones in line when it opened at 5:30. You spend 99% of the time waiting because it’s so crowded. Then they closed half the lanes because they were going too fast.I understand being safe but it is there responsibility to maintain the lanes and keep them safe. Instead of doing maintenance between sessions they just keep packing in people to get that profit as high as possible. Spoke to the manager on the top of the mountain and he was pretty rude when asked about a partial refund because they had a completely full time slot with half the slopes open. They are all about the $$$ money there and not service or an enjoyable experience. For almost $40 a person you would think they might try harder. They were completely booked and they opened evening sliding hours up to make more money from the heavy holiday crowds but like I said didn’t run at full capacity even though they booked fully. Would not recommend it. There are other places to tube in the area and would recommend trying those.
response to the owner below. You may disagree with my review but it is ACCURATE. You can take a few minutes and attempt maintenance whether you admit or not, at no point between all the sessions did that occur, they're booked back to back. If you choose safely and close some lanes that's fine but we should have the option to not stay and get a full to partial refund. I asked about a partial refund. Also your staff made sure to point out no refunds of any kind no matter what and where not nice about it. If you weren't about the money you'd have other options. Everyone person I talked to riding that day expressed the same concerns I did about your booking they just didn't write a review. Your manager on the hill in the orange fleece made it clear the policies. I stand by my recs for people to seek other places for fun when...
Read moreThis is definitely not an all-day thing. First you can only choose an hour or two hours when you buy a wristband. Second there is only four rides/things to do. So, there is obviously the hill to slide down in the tubes. We went in the summer so it sprayed water on the way down, which is pretty cool to cool off, a little scary to me personally but fun. Next is the glider/car thing (sorry I don't know what it's called) It was fun for the most part, you could control your own speed and when you went down the slight hill it took your picture! (You could buy ONE picture for $10 which I think is overpriced) The worker that helped everyone get on and off the ride was super fun and energetic and made the whole experience better. But the downside of this car ride is that the ride would just stop randomly, the worker went to the back room maybe flipped a switch, the ride started again and went on with everybody's day like it was normal or something...? It scared me a little bit at first because I thought I was the only one stopped and someone was going to come and crash into me (that was not the case everyone stopped) but I think this should definitely not be "normal." Now the next two things were crazy to me! I'm not even sure the axe throwing was open because they didn't have a worker there to help (at least that I saw at the time I went) but I'm pretty sure it would have been fun. Now the roller coaster was closed when we went and was having maintenance done to it so I did not get to go on the ride. Agin it probably would have been fun but reading a couple of other people's comments it's just okay. For $28.99 for an hour it...
