Good place with a long bar and few tables around to sit. I liked the feel inside. Very crowded though (July 3rd evening). Loved their Paso Robles wine and found prices to be decent. Just didn't fall in love with the abrupt service. Conveniently close to Delarosa if you're waiting for a table, which is main reason why we stopped here for a glass of wine before our dinner reservation.

Nice place to taste California wine. Extended happy hour from noon to 6 pm. You can also get their superior and exclusive wine through the wine club which is super interesting. The waitress is super nice and friendly and makes great recommendations ! For those living here, wine club is a really nice concept that unfortunately we cannot have access since we are living abroad.

The wines were of course delicious. I would highly recommend offering flavored La Croix for designated drivers to have more variety of non alcoholic drink choices.

We recognize accidents happen, but after having a tray of water glasses spilled on us, we would have really appreciated and expected some type of compensation. One of the small cheese boards comped, or a discount on the wine - that would have been the expectation after the inconvenience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY at this wine bar. Wine is expensive and not great choices. They give you super small pours for $16 glass of wine. Service was awful. They over charged one couple by 2 glasses of wine. It took them forever to correct this error. That couple left and another couple came and sat in the same spot then they starting this weird argument with the new couple thinking it was the other couple that had already left. So the new couple walked out. Rude service and no one knows...

CWM is a GREAT local spot, a treasure. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, remembers those who come frequently, and enjoys connecting people with wine and each other. The other team members are also wonderful. I was a member of the CWM wine club for about 2 years and highly recommend joining as you will taste many wineries that you may otherwise never come across, meet new people, have a great reason to head to Chestnut St for a educational drink, & meet wine owners, vintners, and employees of...
